Sandi - didn't see that movie yet. Just rented "Adaptation" and "About Schmidt". I didn't care for Adaptation, and About Schmidt wasn't too bad.

Steph - are you addicted to the DIS? I tried to keep you off.

Well, my weekend plans are to be at LK's tomorrow for her bunco party. I am bringing pepperoni bread. It's a lot of fun Sandi!

I've never played bunco, but it'd be fun to learn. Unfortunately, that's a little far for me to go this weekend. So I'll have to take a raincheck I guess.

DH got the fence repaired, we think. Didn't hear back from the garage, so that means David's car won't be ready til Monday. We make the trade when we pick his up and leave mine for repairs. We've spent the day working around the house.

I also went to buy groceries. Made homemade enchiladas for dinner. Wrapped my MIL's birthday gift. We deliver it tomorrow. That's about it. Not very exciting, but that can be okay.

The Life of David Gale was a good movie. I thought ABout Schmidt was so so.

Today is Old Home Day here in town....we'll be there most of the day, and through the evening. The fireworks our little town puts on are our favorites......surpassing *GASP* Fantasy in the Sky.

I think all of the REALLY important things are done for the trips this week....so on that note, I'm off to check the resorts board, and finish some laundry (nooooo..not that kind) and will see all of you Thursday!!!!
For those angels I will miss in transit...have a wonderful time! Take lots of pictures!

Sandi, I just learned to play Bunco a few months ago. My friend has a group that meets monthly to play and she needed a substitute, so invited me. LK, if it wasn't quite so far I'd be glad to come.

Gray and dreary here today. We are going to a drumming exhibition then do some errands. Not much exciting. May get crabs for dinner. A treat Andrew has been asking for.

I am going to try grooming a dog today. I know I can't lift him in and out of the tub, but the owner is going to stick around a few minutes and do that for me. Muscles feel a bit better today, but breathing is worse. I think allergies have kicked in, and I haven't been allowed to get my shots for the last month. At least the asthma seems to be under control! Now All I have to do is get that old diaphragm working! I take the stairs slowly and have to rest on the landing, but at least I am able to navigatet them now. I told DH I thought it was going to be imperative that we rent an ECV in Florida. I am quite sure I wont be walking around that much by then, and I hate the thought of being pushed in a wheelchair!! I am WAY too independant for that!

We got a new car last night....DH got a Toyota Camry. It'll be much better on gas than his truck was now that he's driving such a distance across town to work.
Nothing much planned here today....possibly going to see a movie with a couple of girlfriends tonight but not sure yet.

Great about DH's new car. I would love to have a Toyota again. Is is standard transmission?
