Bernies Angels, our new summer home

We had the same dilemma for senior picks here, way back when! We liked the serious pose of DD, and she liked the smiley one. I believe we got both. DS got several poses with his package and got to keep all the proofs, so it wasn't as much of an issue.

...Carol's daughter is adorable....my DS refuses to get his hair cut, and it's kinda long (parted in middle, one length, past his ears...a la` "skater duuuuude"!) And his appointment is NEXT WEEK! (I'm already really MAD at him, cuz, because of him -along with DH- NOT wanting to go to WDW [if you can imagine THAT!] we aren't going! (and we'd be leaving TODAY!! waaaaahhhh!!!)

Have you rescheduled the trip? Was the picture appointment the reason to cancel?!

...my, my, heavens, NO!!!! I could certainly reschedule the pix appt. My oldest DS (who's turning 17 on the 27th of this month, IF he reaches his next b-day!) and DH have been hankerin' to build a cabin/bungalow in NY state for the past few years (my DH, his bro', and a good friend of theirs own 51 acres near Oneonta and Cooperstown) All of a sudden they decided that they HAD to go this weekend to finish putting up the walls and roof! My DH also gave me a lam-o excuse that he couldn't afford to take off from work (owns his own constr. co.) Meanwhile, his brother (also bus. partner) went to HersheyPark for 4 days, and HE'S takin' off 3 more days in a few weeks to go to Wildwood! I'm soooo angry, I could SPIT! There's more to the story, but i won't get into the details.....:(

LOL, Carol! Of course last weekend was relaxing... and the weekend before that too was very relaxing... I just missed out on a heck of a lot of sleep then ;)

Kimmar, sorry about that trip... that stinks you weren't able to go because of that :(

Does someone have a caffeine drip you could just hook up to me... I just can't seem to wake up today!

...to top it off, my DH's sister and her friend were joining us, and now ALL their plans are cancelled, too. They REFUSE to fly, so we were all gonna drive. Now they aren't going to WDW either, cuz' my DS-in-L doesn't feel like she'll be able to make the 19-hr trip...:(

Good Morning!

Bernie-I am so sorry to hear about Matt's friend. My thoughts willbe with his family at this difficult time. Matt must be devastated....it's fortunate that he has such a great family to love him & support him now.{{{hugs}}} for all of you.

kimmar-I'd would have driven with you to WDW!!! I hate it when DHs are party poopers!! DSs too...they must be in training to be party pooper DHs someday:p There are plenty of us Angels left behind this month to keep you company:D

Marsha, have a safe trip. And have fun, but of course we know you will.

Bernie, I'll keep Chris, his family and Matt in my prayers. What a tragic thing to happen. How old was he?

Kimmar, how sad that you don't get to go to WDW. Men can be very difficult to understand sometimes. How could anything be more important that a vacation (especially to Florida)?

Carol, I'm still smiling at the thought of cigar-smoking, poker-playing dogs.

Get to work, Steph!

No caffeine drip here, E. I think I need one myself this morning. My eyes feel like they have sand in them.

We are going to get some things done around the house today. Maybe we'll do something fun this afternoon. I'll check back later. Have a great Friday, angels.

Kimmar, I think next time you ought to do what I do... just go to WDW w/o the men!!! I have done it 2 times in the last year now and plan to do it in less than 4 months (just bought my air ticket down there yesterday). That way you can go have fun and the men can sit home and sulk :p

Merry, if I find a caffeine drip, I'll send one your way too ;) I suppose my lack of sleep last night (about 4 hours) had a little something to do with my sleepiness today ;) :teeth:

No Kidding??? Ya think only 4 hours of sleep might make ya tired??? LOL:p
I need my sleep! I get really droopy about 3pm if I didn't get enough sleep the night before & even caffeine won't help.
For goodness sakes E! get at least 8 hours tonight!!!:D

LOL, maybe that's my problem! I usually only sleep about 4-5 hours. I wake up after that long, and then I can't go back to sleep.

Now I know you're a witch Lars, a witch doctor!

You have figured out what ails both El & Diane (I wish it were that simple Diane)! ;)

Bernie, my thoughts are with Chris's family & Matt & his family too in dealing with this sad tragedy.

I immediately thought of your DS, Diane. At least he's doing fine now & even fired up to go to the world (unlike some of these other males)!

Men, harumph!;)

I think I'll just go sulk by pickin' up trash in the park:p ;)

Afternoon All!

Well, my vaca is almost over.:( My DH and kids will be back in about 5 hours. My DH told me yesterday that he is staying home and I can take the kids to WDW. I think he was getting a little frustrated w/ them on vaca. I hope he is kidding!

Steph - if you can read this GET OFF THE DIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kimmar - sorry to hear about your WDW plans ruined. Let me know if there if there is something that I can pick you up from there that would cheer you up.

E - WAKE UP!!!!!!!!! I don't drink coffee, so all I can suggest is some Mountain Dew, works for me.

LOL, John! I assume you are one male who loves to go to the world!! DH does too. The only one in our family who isn't a complete Disney idiot is our DD. She goes about once every 5 years to satisfy her. Actually, she was with us in December of 2001, and will be returning in October of 2004.

okay, really, I'm only popping in to offer a (((HUG)))) to Bernie's DS.

And to check my pm's.....(I DONT HAVE ANY!!!!!)

and to see if Marsha's coffee arrived (it DID)

and to see if AP rates are out today (they're not)
