Good evening all !

Hope you feel better soon Lars ....

Tomorrow is the last day of the work week for me .... planning on going to six flags on Thursday if the remnants of "Bill" don't get in the way and no plans as of yet for the rest of the weekend .. which in some ways is kind of nice ...just take it as it comes and do what I feel like doing !

Alan and all those already being hit by the storm, good thoughts are with you - hope all your loved ones stay safe !

Not raining here either right now ;)

I am heading off to bed now... enjoy the evening all :)

Hi Guys!!!
Thanks for all the good wishes....I'm still pretty sniffy but I'm better than I was earlier. I laid down to take a nap (I never do that) and was able to sleep for about an hour before Megan needed to find something:rolleyes: "Moooom" ugh!
My friend & I did some beading & we had fun chatting:D
I'm talked to Matt again...he went out to dinner & is back at his hotel heading off to bed now. The men he went with gave him a bit of a hard time for having a conscience & not being willing to pick up women with them:eek: He just met these men tonight & I'm thinking he won't want to see them anymore.

Huh... I thought i replied this morning... then again I am very tired so who knows what I did :p

So good morning everyone

:D  Morning Everyone!

Lars - how are you feeling today? I hope well.

Looked at the riddle and I don't think I am even trying to think about that one.

Nice sunny day out today, but I have a lot of housework that needs done.:( Anyone really hate it as much as I do? Oh well, have a great day everyone!

Good morning Angesl.

I don't know the riddle. I'll get DS to work in it.

I don't even feel like thinking about the riddle today either! I know what I will be doing all day today - organizing closets. I told DH he has more clothes than me so I need to go shopping.

Lotsa packing here today...gotta ship those boys off on time this weekend......i'm sure a trip to the store for the "essentials" will also be in order.

Catch you all later.

unoffical poll:

what's more fun:public fireworks or watching the neightbors shoot them from various yards:)

Today's not going to be fun at work for me :( There's nobody here and it's a really busy time of the month.

Posting a clue here for the clueless on today's riddle...
ARE you sure you have enough AREA to work in?

hmmmmm......trained professionals, or dial 9-1-and wait???

IMHO, people who set off thier own fireworks are just asking for a trip to the ER on the 4th.....

not to mention it's illegal in most states!!

Hey Thanks Diane...that seems to make things much more clear for me!!!!

We used to go to big public displays. It was always neat. Then for a couple of years, the men would set up a display in the parking lot at the townhouses and set off tons of them. We would get them at the legal stands. That was also fun. The most recent time I have seen them was in 96, we sat on our neighbors roof and watched the ones that were going off about 12 miles west. I would vote public, because they always have more spectacular rockets, etc.
Maybe we will go this year............ maybe monkeys will fly out of my b&&@!

Have a great day folks, tons of things to do today.

Hmmm, A. public fireworks, B. neighbors shooting off fireworks, or C. watching monkeys fly out of Marsha's you-know-what....

I vote for C!:Pinkbounc

They do not allow shooting fireworks inside the city limit except for the organized events sponsored by the city.

But growing up in a rural area, we always did our firecrackers and bottle rockets. There was usually nothing more elaborate than that.

We were perfectly safe...

Except of course as teenagers when we would shoot bottlerockets at each other from a distance
