Has anyone done the Bermuda cruise on the Magic? How many days? What shore excursions were offered? We're thinking of doing October of next year for the Halloween celebration.

We are doing October next year and looking forward to it.

we are booked for this October! Taking my parents for their 80th birthdays!

I think this is the first year DCL is offering cruises to Bermuda on the Magic so you probably won't get much feedback yet.....

Yes, this is DCL first year to Bermuda. DH and I will be on the 10/24 cruise this year.

Not much on the website regarding yet. They say at 120 days out we will be able to see the excursions.

We were to Bermuda 15 years ago. The island is not that big and very easy to get around. You can not rent a car, the roads are a very narrow, so we did not rent scooters. The bus system is easy and convenient. We were to the Naval Yard where the ship docks. Very excited to go back.

We are also booked for this October on the Magic to Bermuda. I was in Bermuda a few years ago but in May and it was very chilly. I expect October to be similar. I don't expect it to be very hot in October.

We sailed to Bermuda, same itinerary as Disney on the Anthem last May.
If you have any Bermuda questions let me know :)

Been to Bermuda many times. Can vouch for the buses-they are great! We did not want to rent scooters either. Very narrow and they do drive on the opposite side of the road from what we do in the States. so it can be quite confusing on unfamiliar roads. Beautiful beaches. Weather should be good. Have a great time!

I think I'm on the same cruise as my buddy @Trera ! DCL's maiden voyage! Super excited! I have no idea what to expect so I am going to start to research other cruise line's port excursions because I am going to assume they are the same. We are bringing our parents this time and since the ship is docked for 24 hours, I am thinking we are going to look for a fun day activity but possibly look to have a dinner date night on the island while the parents are watching the kids. I think it's neat to be able to have the night time port excursion aspect of this cruise, I've never experienced that before.

It will be fun for sure. I havent been there in 10 years but always enjoy the wonderful beaches. The have great off shore fishing as well and due to the depth of the water just off shore.............you dont have to go far off shore to get into prime fishing waters. Shopping was hit or miss last time I was there..................I used to love Trimminghams as a place to shop but they have been out of business for many years now.

Not sure what we are planning yet but definitely some beach time. Our DD will be 5 and a half by then but she isnt really into site seeing if you know what I mean. I do remember there being some great underground caves on the island.

I know it will be fun.

Oh! How I miss Trimminghams!

We will be on the Magic to Bermuda in October.

We were in Bermuda in 1969, and it was the year they got their first traffic light. I have the newspaper article in which the colors of a traffic light are explained! It’s a great souvenir.

My favorite store next to Harrods in London!!! Sorry that it is gone.

We've been to Bermuda multiple times - flying and cruising - at different times of the year. Our honeymoon in the late 80's was in October - we had a beautiful week, but the locals did say it was very hit or miss in October. As much as I wish I were flying and staying on the beach in the middle of the summer, this trip is for my parents for their 80th birthdays - we are treating them and figured it was less stressful with no flights and everything in one place. I'm hoping to get to the beach one day, but I'm not sure mom & dad will venture. We got them their own stateroom & verandah, so they will be happy.

Swizzle Inn (the original location) and Henry VIII are my two "musts" when we do Bermuda! We stay clear of the scooters and just use the buses or cabs.

We have been many times too-flying and cruising-benefits of being on the East coast, is it is a short flight. Our honeymoon was in the 80's as well. The month of September-weather is hit or miss. While we were enjoying high waves and beautiful weather, Boston was getting bashed by a hurricane Gloria-we couldn't get home!

My parents are in their 80's as well. It will be less stress without the flying and having everything nearby. I know my parents would feel that way.

Hope you make it to the beach. As you know, Swizzle Inn is not to be missed! Have fun! Hope to be on a Disney cruise to Bermuda in the near future someday!

We were there on a cruise to Bermuda in the early 90s & I think they still had only one traffic light. Avoid renting a scooter. We were warned on the last cruise but one woman did it anyway & broke her leg in an accident the first day. Spent the rest of the 7 day cruise in her cabin. They even had to take her meals down to her. Bummer.

We flew to Bermuda on our honeymoon in 1977 and we cruised to Bermuda in 1986. Have not been
back since, but we are booked on the October 29th cruise over Halloween.
