And now - terrible news - my work has blocked all Message Board web sites

This will significantly cut down on my DIS time - I would check my subscriptions during my morning caffeine break - but I will still try to check in from home!

UGH!!!!! i think i would shed a tear..the Dis gets me through the day..i do my primary reading during lunch..but i sneak peaks here and there

Do you know how much time I spent shopping for maternity clothes online 9 years ago at work??? Nothing was blocked(to my knowledge) because it was such a new thing for everyone to even have computers at that job! (This was for CPS)

Really?! That's such a shame! We love Kona! In fact, we just had breakfast there twice between Aug. 4th-12th & both times everything was delicious! I do have to admit, though, on our second breakfast there, my DH & son ordered steak & eggs... and when their plates came out, they had the smallest steaks we ever saw served with that dish. I even made a joke out of it... as soon as I finished joking, I looked up and the head chef was standing over us apologizing. He said that we were given the wrong steaks and they were grilling up two new ones right away. Within minutes, two big, beautiful steaks were presented. Maybe there are some new kids in the kitchen... which might explain your terrible dinner... I hope they get their act together quickly!

Hey everyone! I'm starting to sift through our vacation pics and pulled out the Magic Kingdom Dessert Party pictures for you! I'm not sure if anyone's posted dessert party pictures here yet, so I apologize if you've seen it before...

Overall we really enjoyed ourselves & I think we got our money's worth (especially with a 17-year old boy in tow!) The only problem was that it was really hot where the seating is set up. Our table was tucked in the back behind the dessert tables and there's just no air-flow! If you had a table outside of the overhang, it was just fine. So, we ate our fill and then staked a claim at the railing to watch Wishes. We met some really nice people there who ended up being DIS'ers! If they extend this, we will do it again. I'm sure it would be even better in the cooler months ahead. There was no shortage of goodies and at the end, they were even telling us to take some with us!

For anyone interested in seeing some Bay Lake Tower pictures, I posted some here on the DVC board...

I'll be adding a few more in the next few days. We really loved it there and have already bought more points!

Yeah... you can't go wrong... Jay photographs really well, no matter what...

I worked a job where I did nothing but sit online all day (I was a receptionist)

I also temped at a place where when I walked into work one morning I got a big warning and a big sign on my computer - they had a virus... Blamed ME of course.. but it ended up being the owner of the company using MY computer to download porn so his wife didn't see it on his computer (they worked together...)

I've fallen so very far behind on this thread! I've only read the last page, but Ms.H I just canceled my Kona reservation for the Wave a few days ago, I keep on feeling better that I did, and those Wishes desserts look fabulous, I hope it gets extended.

It's official ... Im brunk ... that's Bendy + drunk = brunk/...

What else can I be when I have spend nin hours at the worj place and then go drink einght glasses of wine with a few piecxes of hceese? I ate lunch at noon ... and it's nine hours past noon at last chekc.

d oyou knwo what's more hard to drive home thjan a new CRV when you're under the influence? Your recyclable container that's been sitting at the ned of the driveway all day collecting rain water.

If there'd been a state tropper in our cul de sac I'd have been been ticketed for wobbly container wheeling into the garage.

Seriously cool event ... you wouldn't believe that a glass could make a difference but I'mn here to tel you that I dfrank a cabernet tongiht that made myh toes curl like grand marnier souffle. I hate red wines but this puppy was da bomvb!

And I took Homer Simpson for my date nonight .. erm, tonight. He photographs almost as well as Jay. And now I know why Jay is the essential ingerdient in these outings ... he's the one what keeps me from getting too brunk.

Tomorrow night Jay and I are supposed to attend that fancy wine tasting where we will learn about how wine tastes differently depending on the glass it's served in.

Some friends of ours are attending too ... since I pimped the event to them a few weeks ago after learning about it.

And then last night Jay says, "I'm working late Thursday night so ---- can leave early on his vacation."





"Jaaaaaaaay," responds the wife in a decidedly whiny tone of voice. "We're supposed to go to that wine dealie at Provisions Thursday night. I booked it because you don't work late on Thursdays, remember?"

So ... here we is. I have become the third wheel for tomorrow evening's event.

The thing that I'm debating is whether or not to pay for Jay's "place" so that the three of us can have extra wine tomorrow night during the event and so that Jay and I will have a matching set of glasses.

Oh well ... if this is the worst thing that I have to complain about (and it really is) then I have nothing at all to complain about. I'm just bummed because it won't be nearly as much fun without him. I wonder if I should take along a snapshot so that I can take a self portrait with a portrait?
