Oh yes ... it's true. Anila and her husband adore food and are incredible cooks.

Food and wine is getting closer--can't wait. In the meantime, I'm working on details for a couple of Vegas trips. One with hubby-business, and the other with dear friends.

I've been watching for when Jersey Boys tickets go on sale for Dec, not quite yet, but we're getting there. I made the reservations for Rao's, hotel has been squared away, so the show tickets are the last thing I need to do ahead of time.
This regularly thinking about booking/planning...I think it's a disease I caught from Disney.

You are spot on! I compulsively over-plan all vacations now, especially the food. Good luck on those tickets!

And Gina, I had lobster BLT flatbread at the Uno's pizza chain, as a seasonal item a few weeks ago. I thought I posted the food porn of that.

I feel your pain. My weight is not coming off no matter how much I exercise - I'm starting to get really frustrated.

We are getting closer to deciding some plans with our friends that are going. I was at their house last night and the 17 year old heard us talking about $30 pp for 'Ohana's (they are trying to figure out a food budget) and the poor kid said he and his friend would just go to McDonald's! Meeting tonight with the spreadsheet to finalize some stuff--they already said I can just go ahead and make their adrs.

Good luck with the ADRs ... I saw that WDW released park hours yesterday.

We scored a five-course Spanish wine / cuisine dinner for the last Saturday in September and this time we're going to have some friends with us ... people unlike the chromosome kids who don't mind our addiction to food porn and who probably love food more than Jay and me.

Now we're considering something else. It's a secret plan, so you guys can't tell anyone We're going to try for a short Christmas trip Of course we can't book yet (stupid holding points!) but if we can make it work, we'll go the 19th - 23rd of December and we won't tell the kids

It was great - equally as interesting for a wine "expert" as well as a novice who's just starting out.

I wish I could convey just how amazing the taste differences were in those wines just based on the glass that was used.

Why? Because we haven't received our household goods yet.

And you know what? Today was THAT KIND OF DAY that the teeeeeeny 2 Weight Watchers POINTS pour was the bomb diggity.

True story.

Who knew that stemware was that important. I mean, I knew it was important, but not that important. Great deal too- wine, cheese, bread, demo, and glasses for two, for less than the price of buying a set. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for something like this. And your date was quite dashing I must say.
