Glad the breakfast worked out & thanks for the good wishes with the camera. If you need help making your ADR's let me know, just send a PM.
The online thing is making me nervous; I read about people having multiple windows open and having their ressie numbers already entered the day before. I've been playing around on the site so we'll see. I was acually relieved that I have to call to reserve a CP package! I will have to make ADRs for us and for our friends.

As promised ... here are a couple of pictures form our first attempt at making homemade goat cheese ravioli ala CA Grill. While our finished product looked nothing like that fabu single ravioli at the restaurant, it tasted pretty darn good, so we are encouraged to try it again some day.

And here's a family portrait from Saturday night ... taken right after we got home from the winery event. Pete was being a big baby so I told Jay to add him to the picture. Please don't look too closely at me ... focus instead on the velvety suaveness that is Handsome Pete. ;)

The raviolis look like a success!

Pete is so cute with his little white beard! Does he not have any of the black freckles on his nose yet that orange tabbies usually get? All cats think they are Rico Suave.

Really?! That's great! I've been away from the computer all day and missed the info. I've been waiting for the December hours, too. :thumbsup2 What day are you guys getting there? We arrive on the 21st. :goodvibes

We get there on the 15th and leave the 22nd. I saw where the 20th on has now been declared a 10 crowd wise . I don't know why I thought a 9 sounded so much better! :rotfl:

Count yourself among the lucky that you only have to deal with math and English homework, Jamie. When Emma gets to 3rd grade, she starts Latin.....how the heck am I supposed to help her with that? :lmao:

I will still take the Latin over the math. :rotfl2:

I just posted a very brief, very silly update on the pre-trippie that includes a picture of our fabulous new mascot for this year. :thumbsup2

Pete was verrrry sleepy and cranky in that picture. He doesn't have any spots on his little beard ... he's got the best complexion of everyone in this house! :rotfl2:

Brenda, your raviolis looked great, and absolutely authentic. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2
My husband's grandmother came over from the old country. :goodvibes She's been gone some years, but when we were first married she would have the whole family over and make home made raviolis. No machine for her, she'd do them just the way you did. Your picture brought back some happy memories of delicious food. The menu was usually raviolis, braciole and salad.

I didn't know they were out either! So thanks for the heads up. :goodvibes. It will be tomorrow before I can check them out, though. Too much stuff going on right now.

Brenda - I loved the family photo! And the ravioli look DEE-vine!

Friendies ... for reasons both known and unknown I really need to know who is going to be stopping by for cake and hugs on October 17th and if you will be alone or traveling with a party of cake-lovahs.

Please please please let me know as soon as possible so that I don't leave anyone in the cold.

:goodvibes

Brenda, it looks like I won't be able to make it. :sad2: Right now things are up in the air for me and it wouldn't be right if I told you I was going to be there and then not show.

Ok... I'm pimping the little green furry butt again...

I finally shook the rocks out of him and made him sit and post on his STILL unfinished PC repo...

there is more to come... but I think Bendy needs to see this one... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

And if you haven't read the whole thing... go ahead... he's quite entertaining... and he's also got more to go so he needs to bribe as many people as he can to come and read... :surfweb:

I found the hours on the theme park board. Someone had posted a link to the disney travel agents page that was updated about 2 p.m. yesterday. I'm not sure if they're on disney's official site yet or not, but assuming they're correct. Chelle, have you gotten them yet?

Love it :thumbsup2

I have DisneyLand Food Porn! Is that allowed here? :flower3:

I went this past weekend with the Spouse and we ate at Cafe Orleans. The only way I can get him to Disneyland is to bribe him with a Monty Cristo and a churro. No churro this time, but even the heat wouldn't keep him from a deepfried turkey, ham, and cheese sandwich/donut.

mmm donut sandwich
09-09-2620.jpg

Monte Cristo - Sliced turkey, ham and Swiss cheese in a light batter, fried and served with berry puree
I get this about once a year myself. I always think "Mmmm tasty meat donut" and it is good, but it's too much for me. This isn't the Spouse's favorite sandwich ever, but it's in his top five.

09-09-2621.jpg

Pommes Frites - Traditional French-fried potatoes tossed with Parmesan cheese, garlic and parsley, served with a Cajun spice remoulade
These fries smell amazing. They are so good and salty and garlicy and the sauce is just drool worthy. We share these, but the Spouse eats most of them.

09-09-2622.jpg

Chicken Gumbo Crepe - Delicate crepe - made to order. Sauteed chicken, andouille sausage, tasso ham, and Creole gumbo sauce. Served with sauteed asparagus and new potatoes.
I always switch it up, but I got the crepe this time around. There is so much chicken and sausage in this, it's crazy.

Later in the day we also got a leaning tower of DoleWhip:

By we, I mean us. The Spouse wasn't really into it and was stuffed from his ham donut earlier.

I wasn't allowed to take too many photos of the restaurant because the Spouse doesn't like to draw attention to himself. He was equally amused and horrified when I showed him all the Mascot photos I did running around Disneyland with a backpack full of stuffed animals and action figures. He still thought over all that Wall*E was adorable and that I'm seven kinds of precious.:goodvibes

So, halfway through our meal he started laughing and I asked him what was up. He said there was another woman taking photos of her food a couple tables over. I told him to give in to the Dis-collective, resistance is futile. :lmao:

Laura, you may post any kind of food porn here that you would like ... we're not picky - it's the way of the addict. :rotfl2:

Having said that ... it looks fabu! :thumbsup2

We just got home from our food and wine pairing tonight and it was wonderful! Can't wait to share the pictures - all taken using the cuisine setting on my camera ... a first after two years of ownership! :rotfl2:
