I have DisneyLand Food Porn! Is that allowed here?
I went this past weekend with the Spouse and we ate at Cafe Orleans. The only way I can get him to Disneyland is to bribe him with a Monty Cristo and a churro. No churro this time, but even the heat wouldn't keep him from a deepfried turkey, ham, and cheese sandwich/donut.

Monte Cristo - Sliced turkey, ham and Swiss cheese in a light batter, fried and served with berry puree
I get this about once a year myself. I always think "Mmmm tasty meat donut" and it is good, but it's too much for me. This isn't the Spouse's favorite sandwich ever, but it's in his top five.

Pommes Frites - Traditional French-fried potatoes tossed with Parmesan cheese, garlic and parsley, served with a Cajun spice remoulade
These fries smell amazing. They are so good and salty and garlicy and the sauce is just drool worthy. We share these, but the Spouse eats most of them.

Chicken Gumbo Crepe - Delicate crepe - made to order. Sauteed chicken, andouille sausage, tasso ham, and Creole gumbo sauce. Served with sauteed asparagus and new potatoes.
I always switch it up, but I got the crepe this time around. There is so much chicken and sausage in this, it's crazy.
Later in the day we also got a leaning tower of DoleWhip:

By we, I mean us. The Spouse wasn't really into it and was stuffed from his ham donut earlier.
I wasn't allowed to take too many photos of the restaurant because the Spouse doesn't like to draw attention to himself. He was equally amused and horrified when I showed him all the Mascot photos I did running around Disneyland with a backpack full of stuffed animals and action figures. He still thought over all that Wall*E was adorable and that I'm seven kinds of precious.![]()
So, halfway through our meal he started laughing and I asked him what was up. He said there was another woman taking photos of her food a couple tables over. I told him to give in to the Dis-collective, resistance is futile.![]()
ohhhhh... where was all that when I was there last year???

Ok... I did sneak in a dole whip and a couple of Mickey Bars... and I LOVE the Mickey pretzels... and the tigger tails...
