Belly Up to the Bar With Bendy and Her Friendies!!! Button Pics & New Thread Started!

On the upside down computer screen, it is a fluky kind of thing. There is a way to fix it, and unfortunately, I don't remember what combination of buttons on the keyboard it is. This happened to one of my co-workers at work once, and we called tech support and they told us. I'll try to find out for you tomorrow. :thumbsup2

My DH is a pretty big computer geek and he says it's a setting somewhere in your computer, and that you probably have a virus that has set off the setting. Do you have Norton Anti-Virus? If so, he says to run it to scan your computer, and it should repair the virus....then when you re-start your screen should be right side up again.

Ok, y'all, I'm almost out of here! Getting a shower and then right to bed. Just pray for safe travels for us (the older I get, the more nervous I get..).
I promise to take lots of pictures for everyone! We're back late on the 3rd, so see you guys all on the 4th!

I'm the same way....never used to worry a bit about traveling until I had my kids....now I hate to get on a plane or in a car for a long trip. I'll send you up in my prayers tonight.

Hope you do better at going to sleep early than I did.....I just kept watching the clock :rolleyes1

Have a wonderful, fun, exciting and safe trip!

My understanding is that we'll be locked at 3,750 posts ... roughly 250 pages.

I was going to try to start a new one this weekend just to be on the safe side ... wouldn't want us to not have a place to chat with each other. :goodvibes

Also ... anyone have any thoughts on the Flying Fish siggie dinner vs. Blue Zoo's?

I think my problem is that I want to do both but am having a hard time justifying it. :rotfl2:

You're trying to decide between the two? Have you done both before? Wait, haven't I read your review of Blue Zoo's? Why don't I just answer my own questions! :lmao:

I personally love the Flying Fish. I've never had a bad meal there, and I really enjoy the ecletic environment. That being said, it can be quite noisy, so if you're looking for a quieter, more romantic place, that might not be it. But it's got great food, and of course, fun drinks.

I think you misunderstood me ... but then again I wasn't exactly clear.

I was referring to the F&W dinners that will be hosted at both restaurants ...
Flying Fish 10/15
Blue Zoo 10/16

Not only would it be a lot of money but I'm not sure if two F&W signature dinenrs back-to-back wouldn't be too much, even for hogs like Jay and me. Also ... we haven't dined at Flying Fish since May 2007 so I kind of want to just eat there for the pleasure of eating there ...

UGH! SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!!!! :lmao:

Well, didn't you say you were already giving up V&A and Sweet Sunday's? And since it appears that the wine pairing in Mexico has gone bye-bye (and you were thinking of doing that as well), I'd say you are perfectly justified in doing both the FF siggie and Blue Zoo's. But that may just be my own greedy rationalization talking!

Oh, I did misunderstand! Sorry. Like I said, I have trouble keeping up here sometimes.

Although I guess the same basic principles apply.

I vote for both. Just because I want to read about them. Yes, I'm selfish and I love your food reports. :lmao:

Oh, we're not giving up V&A on this trip ... we're dining there with some friends.

So right now aside from the 21 ADRs I've made for 10 days, I'm planning on the Blue Zoo dinner, the F&W pairing in Italy, and a Tequila Tasting.

Current dinner plans include places like Citricos, Jiko, Il Mulino, CA Grill ...

have I said oink yet? :rotfl2:

Hmmm...well, since you're still doing V&A, and some other heavy hitters, I would vote for just one siggie dinner. And I would probably choose FF, just because it has been a while since you've been there, and you were just at Blue Zoo last year, right?

Sooo ...

October 14th Coral Reef
October 15th Flying Fish siggie dinner
October 16th Blue Zoo siggie dinner

Now what do I do for dinner on my birthday? :lmao::headache:

I wanted someplace close to the resort because we'll have to pick up the cake from the Boardwalk Bakery (I think they might be a little less expensive than the GF Bakery) ... but I don't want Yachtsman or Bistro.

I guess I can figure this out after the 11th, huh? :rotfl2: But I'm open to suggestions ... please! :goodvibes

I think I'd better go ride the exercise bike and burn off some of the weight that's waiting for me in October. ;)

Try to book them. I'm going to try to book them, too. We'll be the food paparazzi. :rotfl2: I hope I don't get shut out of either of them.

Oh, and in celebration of your birthday, I'll be doing the tequila tasting, followed a few hours later by a dinner at Bistro de Paris....with wine pairings. I am beginning to sense a theme...

:lmao::lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I love it!!!

I'm right there in hog heaven with you. Since your not going next year, I think its totally fine. Now for us, we are going in 2010...so we have no excuse other than we are complete gluttons.
