Welcome! Do you by any chance have any food porn from that? It sounds great!
That's what I love about the friendies!
Count me in for boozy chat night as well....as long as it's not a night when DH has to be on duty. Social services tends to frown upon drunken mothers at home alone with small children!
Brenda, I hate to tell you this but the tiredness will last for a while....I think I was wiped out for about a month after my other symptoms disappeared.
I'm sure we can work out a night that will be best for everyone ... or more than one night!
And thanks for the insight on the shingly tiredness ... my mom said the same thing you did. Oh well, I guess Jay will just have to get used to my being a delicate hothouse weed.
I'm still getting my notifications.. you might want to check your subscriptions in your PC up at the top left and see if you have them checked for notice...
& I just have my annual summer sinus infection -it's rained so much here my sinuses don't know what's what anymore...
I don't worry much about the notifications because I just head straight to my subscription page when I come to the DIS to see what's been updated since my last visit, but that's good advice.
Sorry to hear about the sinus infection - I hate those.
& you thought your parasitic twin didn't have a name...

She's also writing great TR's!!!
Don't scare the poor woman with too many comparisons to me or she'll run screaming from the DIS never to return.
And yes ... her TR is a hoot!
Wondering where you've been!!!
Me, too; I just didn't want to be too pushy with the community thread. I figured if someone wanted to join in they would but I didn't want to to bug anyone about.
You most certainly belong here

Welcome
Ditto!
I'd like to get 2 of the Homer pins! All the cool F&WF icons are why I made mine.

I'm arriving in Orlando the day before the Festival starts, so I guess I'm going to be like the guinea pig for how things go this year. I've done DCA's F&WF before, so at least I'm going in with some training.
Excellent!
yes, I said that on purpose.
I will mark you down on the official list which is fast approaching 70 ... who'd a thunk?
I loved your DIS reviews .. Happy to see you here!
I have been way out of touch with not a lot to post that has been too fun (one sick kitty finally better and now one with a hurt leg from jumping off the bed!

)
We are getting ready to have 40 plus people here for the 4th of July parade I talked about sometime back in the day! I will post some pictures after!
I have loved all the wedding and past pictures everyone has put on! Too much fun to catch up with!
By the way .. IS IT October yet????
KABUKI!!! You changed your avatar to Ren and I love love love it! I miss Ren and Stimpy ... one of my all-time favs after the Simpsons.
I hope your kitties get better soon - I know it's been a tough year for you and for them.
And definitely post July 4th pics - I can't wait to see how everyone dresses up!
Did you review the DCA Food and wine? Would love to see your take!
Me too!
Thought I'd tempt you fine folks with some food porn from my recent weekend on Martha's Vineyard. These come courtesy of Water Street, a tapas place in a hotel that looks suspectly like the Yacht Club.
Here we have a slow roasted tomato, greens and local cheese
And here is the braised artichoke
More on point-have any of you eaten at Tchoup Tchoup at Universal Orlando? Is it worth it?
Hedy that looks terrific - thanks for sharing!
Jay and I had dinner at Tchoup Tchoup in May 2006 and it was fantastic - even better than Emeril's at CityWalk (which is still very very good).
Somewhere I have a link to a review I wrote ... gimme some time to dig it up and I'll post it here for you if you'd like to read it. No pics, though ... it was before I really got bitten by the food and booze and review bug.
