can you give me a detailed description of this attraction?
would it be interesting for older adults with no children?

You can probably watch a video on Youtube.
I'd say no without kids. Unless you absolutely LOVE Belle

As an adult traveler without kids, it's a one and done for me. With a short wait, I think it's worth it to see the special effects and characters. You watch some guests do a little play with Belle, which would be may more fun if you know the kids... it's just a little boring if you don't know any of the kids. I certainly wouldn't skip another attraction to do it... but if you're there with little to no wait, check it out.

This is one attraction that I have never done in 30 Disney years. How long is it? I currently have a FP for it with my 7 and 4 year olds...

You go in and a CM gives people, mostly kids, "parts" to play in a little mini play describing Belle's story. Then you go in another room and meet Belle, and act out the story. Then everyone takes pictures with Belle.

My kids liked it, but it wasn't their favorite. I thought it was just ok. We had a hard time hearing what Belle was saying. The pictures they took at the end were cute. I would not see it if I didn't have my kids along.

I think I would not do it without kids. We went with our then 2.5 yr old DD. I was a suit of armor, and DD was a saltshaker, I think. She enjoyed it. I passed my participant's bookmark on to a little girl who did not get to do anything in the show. We may do it again on our next trip - DD will be 4.8 at that point.

If your kids are willing to participate in the story, it's really cute. My son was the Beast at age 8 and we have great pictures of him dancing with Belle. Also, there's a PhotoPass photographer who takes tons of pictures, which is great if you have Memory Maker. So you can just watch the kids and not worry about taking pictures.

But no, I wouldn't do it without kids.

My niece absolutely LOVED this, and going with young children it's really sweet to observe, so we'll be doing it again when we go next month (my niece was only 18 months last time, so she was still a little bit timid/scared and couldn't really be one of the characters.) Now she's 3.5 and she's going to keel over getting to meet Belle again.

I guess it could still be fun to watch even without kids with you but, honestly, I'd probably skip it esp. if there's any kind of a line.

My husband and I have gone to this twice: the first time because it was new, and the second time we ducked in to escape pounding, dumping rain and thunder/lightening (no wait). What's cool about it is the "Magic Mirror" in Maurice's cottage that becomes a door to the library in the beast's castle that you then get to walk through. That's our favorite part. What else is cool? The talking wardrobe, Lumiere, and seeing Belle up close. Thankfully the "story" part of the experience goes pretty quickly because...frankly...if you don't know the kids/people involved in the play, it's boring. I think everyone should check it out once, but maybe only if it's a 20min wait or less.

As an adult without kids that was a wasted hour of my life

LOL! AS an adult with a tween in tow, it was cute for me, but I am still hearing about my poor tortured granddaughter.

I did enjoy the details the imagineers included, so I woudl say if you have a spare hour, go for it. It is a really well done attraction. If you have to squeeze it in and skip something else, I'd wait.

Our Belle was fantastic when we visited and my daughter was very cute in their play. I would only do it with kids. For adults there is no point.

DH and I, two kids at heart, did it and loved it. For one thing, it's awesome to see the special effects. MY DH also got dramatic in his "audition" and landed the role of the Wardrobe. It was quite entertaining!

I did it with only adults. To me, it's not a repeat show, but I enjoyed looking around Belle's house while waiting and some of the special effects: the mirror, the wardrobe, Lumiere. Worth seeing once for those elements, but I agree that sitting through the show portion if you don't have a child participating might seem like wasted time. It was cute, but not especially compelling.

It's worth seeing once, even without kids. There is an awesome special effect at the beginning and the Lumiere animatronic is very cool. I wouldn't wait in a huge line for it, but if there is not much wait, then go for it.

We did it a couple of years ago and I didn’t know anything about it going in, I assumed it was some show where the audience sat down... I was tired and my back was hurting bad so I was just happy to get a few mins to relax indoors and hopefully rest. Little did I know (as others mentioned), they chose people from the audience to participate, and of course I was chosen (to be a Belle’s guard), so no rest for me! It was good though, my wife and little girl enjoyed it, and enjoyed me being a part of it. If you’re a fan of Belle, it would definitely be worth doing. IMO, it’s worth doing once anyway if you have a little girl.
