Being made a Saint TWICE deserves a trip to Mickey's House! PTR Update pg.12 06/06!!!

Awww... Megan looks so pretty!!! Congratulations to her on her first communion. It's amazing on how fast our kids grow up. Megan looks so pretty in that color, I agree.
I took a Vera mini hipster on my trip last year, and it was perfect for me. My only complaint is that it's not big enough to put a water bottle in it. I wouldn't want a pack pack either, too sweaty in the hot summer.
My camera is also a Nikon coolpix. I call it my Ashton camera. ;)

I have a white Nikon coolpix too! I used to CALL it Ashton. I'm just too lazy to use it when we are at Disney.

Wow! Megan is so pretty in her Easter and First Communion attire! What a sweet girl! :cutie: Congratulations on her First Communion, and she sounds like a very insightful and intelligent girl! I hope someday that my children will be like that!

I carry a Vera Mini Hipster in the parks. It is so convenient to have, and I just love it!

Thanks sweetie! I know what you mean about growing up so fast! Last weekend was RIDICULOUSLY rainy around here, so we spent some time after all the festivities died down on Sunday watching some family videos of her when she was smaller. It seems like those days were just yesterday--I miss my little Megs so much, but she is growing up to be such a sweetheart too! I hope she stays this sweet forever!

Okay, I have considered the mini hipster too--I love how small and compacct it is. What do you usually carry around in it? I am wondering if I could go down to that size!

I think the Coolpix is sounding GREAT!!! :thumbsup2

I LOVE how you both make ASHTON references to the camera. Reason enough to buy one! :lmao:

Thanks so much for such sweet words about Megs. I know I am her mother and naturally biased, but there is something so sweet and kind about Megan. Those who know her would agree...she is a very genuinely kind and caring child. I wish I could it explain it better here, but there is something special about her. I wish I knew what I did to raise her in that way, but I have a feeling it has more to do with just who she is. I hope she never loses that about herself!

I would LOVE to know what you carry in your mini-hipster...I am wondering if I can fit my normal lot in it. It would be so much nicer to go down to that size!!!

Ah, Jen, I have tears at how pretty Megan is in her Easter dress and at her First Communion. :goodvibes

Oh Jackie!!! She looked like a little angel. Our girls are getting too pretty! We are going to have to lock them up until they are 30 I believe! :rotfl2: Charles and Tom sure do have their work cut out for them!!!

Guess what gang.....we are officially in the 30's today!!!! 39 and counting....I feel like dancing---want to join me?!?!?!

:cool1::rotfl2::banana::dance3::yay::woohoo::dance3::yay::banana::worship::confused3:rotfl2:

:dance3::dance3::dance3: I'm dancing with you too! I'm still in th;)e 40's but low 40's .
I put my park tickets, camera, money, a small snack or two and then I got one of those hand sanitizer purse hanger things for the strap. I probably had a band aid it two and a lip balm. Worked for me.

That is my camera! It's a touch screen, but it comes with a little stylus and I use that instead of my finger.

Megan looks sooooo gorgeous!!:goodvibes That blue of her Easter dress is certainly beautiful on her! She looks so pretty for her First Communion! I'm glad you guys were able to enjoy it and not have to worry about the weather! Her morning exclaimation reminds me of my neice when she did another dedication at their church! I was talking to her on the phone and she said "Auntie Stacy!! Jesus is IN my HEART!!!!!!!!!!! FOREVER!!!!":rotfl: I'm happy that Megan had a great day!

As for the other questions, I'm afraid I'm not much help with the camera issue. I need a new one too so I was hoping to steal the responses you get! ;)
For the bag, I have been a fan of a cross-body bag, but I am considering switching to a backpack for this next trip since we'll have the three kids with us and having hands free and hips free to carry little ones with will be important!
For the ME tags, I wouldn't worry about them. With all the debacle I had with the TA on my last trip, I wound up having to set up ME myself 4 days before we left since she had forgotten about it and didn't have time to fix her mistakes...Disney gave me no problems! I called, explained the situation and I had my tags in less than 48 hours. They were hand delivered to my door!:thumbsup2 The CM I spoke to also told me that if the tags somehow didn't arrive on time that we should collect our bags at the airport as you would without using ME and then give my reservation number at the ME check-in counter afterwards and we would still be taken to our resort with no problems.

So excited for you guys that you're in the 30's!! We'll be in the 40's by the end of this week and I can't believe it!!

Hope you had a wonderful Mother's day!

Sounds great! I think I am convinced that it will work for me too!!!

Thanks for the help about the camera! I think Tom and I have some shopping to do this weekend! :)

Yay for the 30s!!!

:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Boy did they come and go SOOOOOOOOOOO quickly! That's what happens when you are SO stinking busy!

Yeay for being in the 30's!!! I will definitely dance with you!!! :cool1:

Thanks for joining in the dance with me....we danced so well that the 30s just FLEW by!!!!

Thanks for all the sweet words on Megan's dresses! She was so sweet and cute! :goodvibes The day was perfect!

If you do switch to a backpack, I really loved the ones I have used from Vera Bradley before. I think I have definitely decided to move down to a mini-hipster...I think that will be plenty for me for this trip.

The camera comments have been great! I have really appreciated the tips! Hope they help you too!

I can't believe they got those tags to you that quickly. We are 29 days out, and I do not have them yet. I don't know at what point I will need to call in case they do not come, but I am antsy. It does make me feel better to know that I can get them late if need be!

So excited for you guys that you're in the 30's!! We'll be in the 40's by the end of this week and I can't believe it!!

Hope you had a wonderful Mother's day!

I can't believe we are now in the 20s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:banana::banana:
Time has flown since we have been SO ridiculously busy around here, but things should be clear sailing from here on out!

Mother's Day was wonderful--even though Megan was REALLY sick. We had such a low key day, but it was just so sweet to be together just the three of us and hang out at the house all day. I hope yours was great as well!

yayyyy congrats!!!!!!!

Thanks so much!!!!!!!

Getting even closer now!!

Is everyone getting excited in your house ?

:dance3:

Where have you disappeared to??? :confused3 Counting down our days. What are your dates again? (too lazy to look back at the report) I will be there June 19-27. Do any of our days cross?

:banana::banana::banana:Joining you in the 30's!!! :banana::banana::banana:

Thanks for all the dancing...the 30s AND 20s have just FLOWN by!!! ACK! I almost need more time to get ready!

I think we have been SO ridiculously busy that we have had hardly any time to get excited. Now that things have chilled out, we are all a flutter with EXCITEMENT!

Doing the 3 Weeks dance for you!!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::banana:

Thanks for the happy dancing!!!

That nasty thing called LIFE has SO gotten in my way of DIStime, but things have slowed down, so now I have LOTS to share with you all! We are the 13th-23rd, so yes we do overlap!

Can you believe that today marks 20 days and counting?!?!?!? We are SO excited, but we have been SO ridiculously busy with wrapping up the school year on the 15th, field trips, graduation for my 8th graders, last day of school for Megs, completing auditions for next year's school play, completing scheduling for our entire junior high, Megs coming down with a NASTY case of Strep, Mother's day, my Mom's birthday, the end of soccer season, Christmas ballet auditions (she made it!), gearing up for the dance recital....YIKES, it makes me tired just typing it all out! Needless to say, it has been one chaotic month for us, and therefore, I have not been able to DIS much...heck, I haven't been able to do much more than eat and sleep in between all our craziness!!! BUT, we are lulling down to a dull roar, so we are finally getting excited about the impending trip!!!:banana::banana: I am QUITE behind on my packing and normal organizational practices, but I have started some preliminary work, and should be "caught up" in my head very soon!!! :goodvibes In the meantime, enjoy this update about our third day from our July 2011 trip!!!!

Friday morning was another early start to our day since we had an 8am reservation at CRT for breakfast with the princesses. It was NO problem getting our VERY excited princess up and out the door early for our before rope drop breakfast.

We were soon walking down a pretty empty Main Street on our way straight back to our favorite destination. Of course, we had to stop for a few photo opportunities!

(Can you find the Hidden Megan?!!?)
It was not long before we were THE FIRST FAMILY escorted inside to meet our gal Cindy

FILE0117-2.jpg

and then taken upstairs to be the first guests seated in the restaurant!

FILE0121-2.jpg

Our server, Tina, was GREAT, and happened to also be originally from the Greater Cincinnati area like us. It was SO much fun talking about “home” with her! Since we were the first guests seated in the restaurant, we were sat at the first table the princesses visit after their arrival inside the dining hall. Megan was SO precious getting all giddy after each new princess was announced because she knew that they would be coming to see her first!
First up, our FAVORITE girl…SNOW WHITE!!! They were adorable together admiring each other’s dresses. Megan couldn’t believe that she was the first one to come out!

FILE0122-2.jpg

Then a very beautiful Sleeping Beauty stopped by to visit!
FILE0124-1.jpg

Then Ariel with a beautiful dress came to visit and grab a hug!
FILE0126-1.jpg

Next up was Belle…she was so happy to see them all!
FILE0128-1.jpg

It was priceless seeing Megan’s reaction each time a new princess was announced and even sweeter watching her interaction with each one of them! Our breakfast was delicious, but once we were filled up, we headed out…right before rope drop! It was PERFECT! We were actually on the FIRST flight for Dumbo that morning!
