hi everyone. i have a question for any cast members or anyone who has been a guest of a cast member. i'll be in wdw in about 2 weeks and a friend of mine is a cm. he said that he would put me and my friend who is meeting me in wdw down as guests to get into the parks. i have an ap so it doesn't matter to me. my friend however doesn't know if she should just get a park hopper pass so my friend isn't inconvienced in any way. how does being a "guest" work? is it only for one park per day? do we go to guest relations to get in? also-- i am assuming that the fast pass option is not open to us b/c she wont have a "real" pass. is that correct? i don't want to annoy my friend who might do this favor for us by asking a million questions so i thought i would bother everyone on the boards :D. does anyone have any info? thanks!

I am not sure, but I think that the CM has to actually be with you (or meet you at the gate) when you enter the park, but after that you are free to go off on your own. My SIL's sister is a CM at Animal Kingdom and my SIL has told me that she has to be "signed in" by her sister when they go to the parks. That is all I know, though. I do know that they used to give each CM actual "guest passes" that they could hand out to friends and family, but they stopped that--not sure why. I have no idea if under the current system your friend will get a ticket that can be used for fast passes. HTH!
