Hi,
I would like to know if anyone has had any experience participating in any of the behind the scene's tours (Keys to the Kingdom, Backstage Magic, etc, etc) with the use of a ECV? My girlfriend and I would like to check out one (or more) these but we are in need of an ECV. I would like to know if anyone has taken one of these tours with an ECV? What was your experience like? Did you have any problems? Is there any tours that would work best if you had an ECV? Thank you!!
Rob

a number of years back.

At that time an ECV could be used if you did not go to multiple parks. So, pick tours that are in one park and you should be ok. You may have to call and see if they can transport an ECV to multiple parks, now for those tours. Perhaps if it's wheelchair accessible it may be scooter accessible.

We liked all the tours; it was an insider's look and so we enjoyed them all.

People have posted in the past that it s very important to let them know that you have a wheelchair or ECV when making the reservation for the tour. Some involve buses, which will be accessible, but only for a limited number of guests with ECVs. Someone posted a few years go that they had made a reservation with an ECV, but when they arrived for their tour, there were several others with ECVs who had not called ahead.

DH and I did the Keys to the Kingdom tour last January and both of us used ECV's without a problem. The guide called the scooters our "royal carriages." It was a great tour and we learned a lot, and had fun doing it. The tour was all in the MK so we didn't have to worry about buses or transferring to another park.

Using a wheelchair or ECV you may sometimes (depending on the tour) have to go into a building via an alternate entrance, but all the tours are accessible.

'And, although it is not a legal requirement, it really is a good idea to let them know in advance so they can have proper vehicles at the start of the tour instead of having to delay everyone by getting a special vehicle.
