I remember reading it's a walk-through thing right? I see the times are usually 11:30-11:45 or so; does it only last that long or is that when you pick up your tickets and then you come back later? Can you explain how it works?

How long does it last? Which galley do you go through? Did you like it? It sounds very cool to me!

Thank you!

When we did the galley tour on the Western Magic in May we didn't have to pick up tickets. The tour was on a last sea day of the cruise in the afternoon (I think around 2pm) We lined up outside of Lumiere's. You enter there and walk through the entire kitchen and come out in Parrot Cay. They had fresh baked cookies on the tour to enjoy and on our tour we got to see one of the pastry chefs putting the finishing touches on a wedding cake.

The whole thing lasted about 15 minutes. We enjoyed it and I would do it again.

Sometimes you have to pick up your tickets to go on the tour earlier in the day, sometimes you get to just walk in. The number of people allowed on the tour is limited. Usually you will get a ticket with a specific time to arrive at Lumiere's. You need one for each person in your party. They let a group in about every 5 minutes. Each tour lasts about 15 minutes. You start in Lumiere's dinning room, move into it's galley. The cheif leading your tour will explain how everything works, point out the different pieces of equipment and then you move on to another area. You will pass through Parrot Cay's galley and then disburse out of Parrot Cay. Fun, informative and quick. The fresh chocolate chip cookies are really really really good.
