Great update! I love Primeval Whirl, but I can't believe Emily did it so many times in a row! :faint: And the Everest pics are pretty cool.

Emily is a daredevil! Wait until you see how many times she rode the Kracken!!

Thanks for reading!

Since Em and Jake are home, they are helping me write. As a reminder Em is in Purple and Jake is in Green. Chuck is still in Sith red.

Day Three Part Two

Are you ready to go on Safari with us? JAMBO Everybody!!! The line was very shorts and we were able to walk right on. Emily and I got the front short seat with Chuck and Jake behind us. We were right behind the driver and could feel his airconditioning. Excellent!!! If I had only known about the whole AC thing before hand…..Lynn would have been stuck staring at the back of my mellon while I soaked up the A/C!!!!! What a gentleman.

We saw the normal crocodiles.

And the normal four legged beasties.

This was our view as we looked over the savanna.

This is my favorite part of the safari.

It certainly doesn’t look like Florida anymore.

We were lucky to see the lions!

Em got this shot. Em?? Hmm…looks like somebody needs to check their exif data! Let it go, Chuck.

The rhinos were out in force. Here are some lovely shots of rhino behinds.

The ostriches always make me really nervous. Beware of the evil ostriches !!!!

DSC03245.jpg

After our beautiful morning safari, we decided to go see my favorite: the gorillas!
Along the Pangani trail,we saw this little guy out on morning watch.

DSC03251.jpg

Alas, there were no gorillas out that morning. It was EMH. I guess they were still sleeping. Maybe they are not used to getting up so early!

We always look for these monkeys because they look like our cat Ellie Belly. Except they are not as fat and don’t have the permanent look of contempt on their faces.
But there were no Belly Monkeys today either. I guess everyone on that trail slept in. Except the meerkats.

We decided this is where they throw the people who can’t pay their resort bill. I‘ll bet there is no room service.

After that disappointment, we did have some excitement at Rafiki’s Planet Watch.

To Be Continued dot dot dot

Rhino mud-wrestling... I didn't see that in the guidebook! :lmao: I love the safari!!

Lynn - if you don't mind, I'm going to PM you separately with some questions about traveling in December and Mousefest. I know you are going this year and I think you said you've been before... I'm really tempted but have some questions. Thanks!

He he he! Love the safari!!! I didn't realize that about the driver having AC -- I bet that makes the job that much more enjoyable!

One day I hope to see the meerkats in real life! I have always been partial to them!

Wow, there were a lot of rhinos!! And to Emily, the elephants are my favorite too! :teeth:

Great update and can't wait for more! popcorn::

That Ac was nice. It was cold and blowing hard! I can see it now. People all over will start asking to ride in the front of the Safari and Disney will wonder why!

Love the safari update! Great picture of the lion and also of the rhino's in the mud.

Thanks! I couldn't believe how fast we were able to get on. EMH was excellent!

Hopefully it won't be long until the next update. Chuck has got it but the poor thing is on night shift! That would make for interesting updates!

What a great shot of the Lion!!!! I only have seen the top of the female so that was great to see. And my goodness there were lots of Rhino's out...the ones in the mud looked like they were having fun. A great update and looking forward to seeing how the rest of the day went.
