If we were going to plan only 3 days at WDW, would it be better to have those three days be Sunday Monday Tuesday or Thursday Friday Saturday?
I’m thinking about fp+ availability mostly, and crowds.
Thinking of going the last week of July this year, with hoppers. Want to hit all 4 parks if possible.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

It is amazing to see data gathered like that- so interesting!
How about fp’s, do you think either earlier in the week or later would be harder to get better fp’s for?
I’m leaning towards earlier in the week would be better, but not sure why.

If we assume most people go for 5-7 days and again assume that most people begin their trip on Sun or Mon with Sat as a travel day, then my guess would be that most people would be trying to get FP+ for the beginning of the week first.

Now, enlightened DISers know that you start with your last days when doing FP+ because you have a better chance of getting the hard to get FP+ the further out from day 1 you go.

In your case, it's not really going to matter because your 60 days won't give you the end of week advantage no matter which you choose. Anyone staying for the full week will have access to the end of the week before you do, but will also have access to the beginning of the week.

In other words, it's a crap shoot, and I'd base my decision on other factors. Such as, the beginning of the week is cheaper for hotels and tickets. Therefore, I would choose the beginning of the week.

True- so it seems that beginning of the week is the way to go for crowds and access to fp reservations.
Thanks for helping think this through!

Me too. As DVC members, points are certainly cheaper at the beginning of the wk rather than the wkend. I would assume crowds and lines would in at least a small part correlate.

Exactly where I was going as well. Rooms cost more points on Friday and Saturday nights. For many of our long trips, we tend to arrive on Sunday morning.

Long weekends are just that, long weekends, nor much I can do about the days. But when I have an option, I would start on Sunday.
