The Just Dance games get ya moving and having fun for sure. I love the wii fit... I only needed to lose about 25 lbs but I HATE to exercise, really hate to sweat and I sweat easily. The yoga, though I was worried about it, is so wonderful, relaxing and actually addictive and the strength training was just enough for me.
I love my Wii Fit, expecially the Yoga and Step Aerobics. My DS5 loves the hula hoop. We have the original Wii Fit and the Wii Fit Plus which has more games/options. i love that it keeps track of changes to weight/BMI.
Former couch potato here! I have been on a weight loss/fitness journey since Labor Day 2010. I started at 5'1", 185 lbs and unable to even walk up a flight of stairs without getting short of breath (at 34 years old....sad!!!). I started with Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred video and it was soooo hard for me to even finish level 1. At that time, I also started the South Beach diet. I was so sick of being overweight and unhappy with myself, I was super strict. After the 30 Day Shred, I moved up to her "No More Trouble Zones" and "Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism" and then eventually bought a couple of the Biggest Loser videos and her Yoga Meltdown. Within 6 months, I lost 50 lbs and just felt great!! Since then, I have completed Insanity, Asylum, a P90X/Insanity hybrid and various other programs. I have also done several mud runs and am registered for the WDW Marathon Relay in January! I feel better than I have in years and I have lost a total of about 70 lbs ! I am so happy I started this transformation and am in the best shape of my life! All that to say that I hightly recommend anything by Jillian Micheal's or the Biggest Loser....if you stick with it, it definitely works!!! I found that it is all a matter of making of your mind to be healthy and just commit 100%!!
