Beer at Magic Kingdom

A co-worker mentioned he couldn't find a place to get a beer at Magic Kingdom. I am sure I have had beer there before, but can't remember where I got it. I know the dis-boarders will know.

I was discussing that with my co-worker. His family had dinner there and he was surprised that there were no libations.

To the PP who asked about Pixie Hollow, I have heard that the plans were scrapped, along with some of the Princess meet & greets. Here's where I found some info about it: http://www.screamscape.com/html/wdw_-_magic_kingdom.htm#Fantasyland It doesn't say that it's definite, but it sounds like it's looking that way.

If you would require beer while at MK, you could always zip over to one of the resorts for a beer or few.

Using "tavern" at a place where they serve no alcohol IS a bit annoying, come to think of it---

I was having a challenging day with our 2 year old last Saturday and we took the monorail to the Poly for lunch and a pubs colada! This was after I pointed out to my DH that while there was no alcohol sold in MK, it was just a monorail, boat or bus ride away!

I don't think that's going to change anytime soon--it was one of Walt Disney's edicts: No alcohol in Magic Kingdom.
