Been to POR lately?

I'm curious whether POR is busier than usual for this time of year? I'm afraid of it being too crowded due to CBR closing. We might even make a last minute resort change (gasp!), if it looks like a hectic place to say. Any input appreciated!

POR is such a large resort that, even if it is busier, you won't notice.

It's a wonderful place to stay. If you want to "feel" less crowded, ask for a room as far AWAY from the food court and main building as possible.

This is a slow time of year so I wouldn't worry too much!

The hotel will be a bit more crowded due to the fact that Disney has closed about 4000 rooms with CBR, Disney Institute and Shades of Green. But, POR is such a big resort that even when it is full it doesn't feel that full. From what I am reading, all the resorts on property will be pretty full until the CBR is back open. So, I'm not sure changing resorts would be the answer.

I agree that this is a great resort to be at during crowded times. We have stayed there in the height of the summer twice now, when all rooms are booked, and have not felt overcrowded.

We just came back a few weeks ago and found it more crowded then the past!! Also alot more conventions going on!!
