Been There, Done That and ThenSome:Timandlesley Do Disneyfor18days!11/2 TR IS UP!pg79

We are going in a couple of weeks. Staying on developer points at SSR. We are starting in a studio then moving up to a 1 BR. I'll let you know about the difference in size. We did 15 nights last year in the All Stars, so I'm really looking forward to staying DVC!! Can't wait for our Feb trip to stay at AKV!
Disney is a magical place. It is the only place my 14 YO son still holds my hand and actually acknowledges that we are related! :lmao: Three years ago Pat & I took our first Couples Only vacation during February school vacation. The kids were finally old enough but I still I felt guilty (for about a day! :rotfl2:). It was one of the best things we did for our marriage. We have already told the kids that every other year will be a Mom & Dad only DVC trip.
So looking forward to doing this on our trip! You have us very excited about it!!
`Great trip report so far as always! Looking forward to the next installment...
AKV is so nice, you are really going to enjoy it. So glad to hear that your 14 YO still holds your hand, I SO HOPE my babies will still be that way, at least at Disney. We will do couples only trips as the kids age a bit.
Thanks for reading/posting

Another fabulous update!!!! I love how excited your children are to be at Disney...and love the dancing...that is just awesome!!!

Sorry you didn't have the greatest meal at Coral Reef, its amazing how much of an impact a server can have on your meal, really can make or break the dining experience.

Those KP missions look like a hoot, I really wouldn't mind trying one myself :rolleyes1

Can't wait for more!
Thanks, so glad you enjoy it. This was our first negative Coral Reef experience, stinks! KP missions are awesome!

I am so sorry your waiter at Coral Reef was horrible. I always worry about that kind of stuff. We pay so much to do Disney and then you get stiffed with a jerk like that. Lauren and her dancing is hilarious! Does she take dance class Lesley?
I know, stinks, I should have said something to a manager.
Lauren took dance for 2 years but stopped when she started cheerleading and soccer, just too much on the schedule ; )

What a fun day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounded like a perfect Disney day! The pic of Lauren out cold is so funny!

Coral Reef is on my too do list but maybe I'll think twice about it. You are right, there are so many good places to go! Sorry you had a bad experience!
It was a fun day. Yeah, I looked around at Coral Reef and it seemed like all of the World Showcase rejects were working there, none of the employees were smiling, they just seemed sad to be there, really deadened the experience.

I'm loving your trip report so far. Your kids are so cute! Can't wait for more! I'm sorry about your waiter at Coral Reef, but look on the bright side at least you got your food. We had a bad experience once at Ohana. We had reservations for 8:30pm (since we got in late). We were seated and our server came over right away. Then, we never saw her again. Really we never saw her! We kept asking other servers and they would say "We'll check for you!" or "I'll go get her!" Finally, we asked for the manager. The manager came out and said she left for the night. Apparently, she told the manager that she didn't have any more tables for the night. :confused3 Well, we got a new server who was great, but we didn't get out of there until after 11:30pm.
So glad you are enjoying it. That is CRAZY about your experience, just crazy!

Lesley,
Ok, just to start with in the 1br, you have a full kitchen, not that you want to cook on vacation but it's nice to have that full size fridge and freezer to well freeze things like capri suns and water bottles for the parks. Plus we did a little cooking for snacks. You also will have a dining table and possibly a breakfast bar.
Then you have your own bedroom with a king size bed. The bathroom is amazing...
From the master bedroom there are shutters that you can open or close while using the jacuzzi tub, your own dressing area, full glassed in stand alone shower, another sink area for the kids and a potty room...
Then there's the washer and dryer, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. If you are staying at AKV you will have a pull out sofa and a pull out chair in the living room for the kids. At Beach Club we just had the pull out sofa for Baylor but it was soooo nice to have our own space.

If it came down to staying in a studio or not going, well, I'd stay in a studio, but I'll sacrifice a few days to use more points for our 1br.

Hopes this all makes sense!
We are staying in a 2br at Kidani in December, I'm sure it will knock my socks off but there will be 7 of us on that trip, so we will fill the place!
Anita
You guys are KILLING me, Tim saw those pics and REALLY wants to stay there, it's tempting to add on more points (which we can't afford) to do so, our trips can be 7-9 days in a studio with points left over but would be shortened to 4-5 days if we did a 1 bedroom which I'm not willing to do. Maybe we'll add on points as the kids get older because those 1 bedrooms look INCREDIBLE!

Loved reading this update! Another wonderfully relaxing day for you with the pool and Epcot! What a shame about Rico :(. Was that yellow stuff coming OUT of Tim's Chocolate Wave? I am pretty sure there wasn't anything yellow in the one I had in 2007. Yick! Lauren must have exhausted herself with all of that dancing she did -- she was definitely out cold!
I don't know what it was in his chocolate wave but it looked NASTY! Mine didn't look like that!
Yeah, she certainly was OUT COLD ; )

Great update!! What a nice and relaxing day! Those pool mornings really help sometimes.

We had a very simialr experience at Coral Reef before, and haven't been back since!!
Glad you enjoyed the update. We will not be returning to Coral Reef either, it's a shame, that restaraunt has so much potential.

I'm late but finally here - gotta get caught up on the entire trip report! You have a beautiful family!
Welcome, and THANK YOU!
I'm finally caught up! I've been reading and trying to catch up, but too tired to comment.

Your last couple of days were so magical!

- I love that Luke got picked for HDD! He did such a good job:thumbsup2 We had those seats in the back, too - great seats since the table is taller, and there is action in the back.

- It is so fun that you've become such good friends with Diane and family! I'll bet you have many years of fun trips together!

- I'm sorry you were underimpressed with SSR. I think AKV is definately more "deluxe" - they tagged on to an awesome resort. I have enjoyed SSR because it is quiet and away from everything, yet close to DTD, but I loved AKL also! I put the suitcases in the back of the closet, and didn't really feel a lack of space, but we didn't have 4 people in the room, either.

- Yuck! Too bad about your Coral Reef dinner. I don't think we'll be doing that one anytime soon. I love Luke's positive attitude!

- your KP missions look so fun - I think I want to do one next time!

Thanks again for sharing.
I was so proud of Luke getting up there, yes it is great being friends with Diane and her family - we look forward to making more memories with them. AKV is definitely more "deluxe" can't wait to check out Bay Lake Tower in October, sure I"ll fall in love with it too! Luke's positive attitude was awesome that night! KP missions are great fun, you have to try one.
thanks for reading/posting

That sounds hilarious! Must must do this when we go back.

These pictures are fantastic! I can't believe there aren't hoards of people crowding around the fence. IllumiNations is in the air, the sky looks beautiful... ahhhhhh... I can just imagine being there right now!

:love:ME TOO!!!!

:rotfl::rotfl:How GREAT! If only she looked that HAPPY in front of Illuminations in real life! Can you believe after all of that talk she does about "Earf" that when it came right down to it, she freaked out and didn't even watch it?!?! :sad2:

That is a KEEPER!:thumbsup2
Thanks for all of your awesome comments Susie!!!!! I was proud of the one with Shae, had to get the timing right you know : ) Funny how Tim reminds you of Matt, we HAVE to go together some time, it would be nice for Lauren to have a girl to hang out with too. Your pics of a 1 bedroom have me DROOLING, so hope we can afford that points wise sometime!!!
Lesley

Oh, Diane! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to come too! Can you imagine ALL of our kids?!?! They would never want to leave each other!! We just can't go at the time of year you guys go, because of Matt's involvement with Drum and Bugle Corps. Maybe if he ever stops touring, we can work it out!!
Hope he does so we can, or maybe a LATER summer trip???
Hi Lesley!! I am loving the report!!! Your Children are adorable and Tim, well... He's so funny I actually LOL a few times reading your updates!!! Thanks for sharing! Cant wait to read the rest! Reese
Thank you so much. Yeah, Tim keeps us ALL laughing ; )

We've stayed at Old Key West,The Boardwalk,Animal Kingdom Lodge and SS. We've stayed in one bedrooms, two bedrooms and studios. My personal favorite resort is Boardwalk(we arent DVC owners but have found a great couple on these boards that we rent points from everytime we go) because the Boardwalk is close to two parks plus we have the other resorts just a short distance away from us. We stayed in a two-bedroom at SS ad I thought personally that was a little small compared the Old Key and Boardwalk two bedrooms. We've only stayed at a studio at AKL which we had a view of the pool that was cool. I like AKL but I feel we are so far away from everything expect the Animal Kingdom Park. We've also ate the Coral Reef twice and had great experiences both times and I would go back in a New York minute. I love their steak! Yummy for my tummy.

Since you are DVC members, you HAVE to go to Disney sometime around Christmas. That is our favorite time to go with everything going on. We've gone other times and Disney feels and looks "naked" without all the decorations at the parks and resorts. We love it at Disney that time of the year. I'm usually lurker for your trip reports-you have one of the best trip reports on these boards(well thats just my opinion anyways) and it helps that you are also from Ohio like my family is. We live bout a hour north of Columbus and we usually drive to Disney and about once a year sometimes twice.
This was our first bad experience at Coral Reef, just wasn't good all around. We would love to come down at Christmas sometime but the crowds SCARE me that time of year :scared1:. Can't wait to experience it in the fall in October and to try out BLT, CAN'T WAIT!!!

Sorry to hear your meal at Coral Reef was not so good! Tim's Wave looks HORRIBLE. Ick! That is not what it is supposed to look like at all. And poor service, a not so good seat on top of it all. :sad2: But, like you said, there are so many choices at Epcot (and the surrounding resorts), it will be great to try other places!

The pics of Lauren passed out are so cute! Man, she was ZONKED! :goodvibes Good move on the cab too - sometimes it is the best choice and money well spent!
Ah ya...the timing just stinks for teachers! :guilty: I know quite a number of people were bummed about that - I bet 3.0 will be during the summer to help accommodate the crowd who cannot go this time around.

If we get to a town with an Old Navy anytime soon I'll have to look for it! Thanks!
Yeah, she sure was passed out!!! Timing does stink for teachers, hope 3.0 does, we'd go FOR SURE!
Lesley

Really enjoying your disney adventure once again.
Loved your pics of Wishes. Luke's shirt was terrific!
what a creative little guy!!! Lauren is the most adorable
little girl, all her pics are great!! Poor Tim with the knee
issues, thank goodness for cabs!!!!:)
Thanks, glad you are enjoying things so far. thank goodness for cabs indeed!
Hi there! I just booked a wdw trip, so it's time to start spending endless hours on the dis, and I thought I need a timandlesley trip report to get me excited, and here it is. I'm only through day one. The kids are sooo cute, getting so big. I think my first report I read of your's was before my son's first trip 3 years ago.

Congratulations on buying DVC!!!! That means there will always be plenty of trip reports!!
Congrats on booking your trip and glad you are enjoying the trip again and found us again. Buying DVC was AWESOME for us!
Lesley

loving the report

Boy, when you go away on vacation there sure is a lot of catching up you need to do. When I left it was at page 30, now it's at 42!:surfweb: I am looking forward to reading.

Where to start. I have 12 pages to catch up on!

First congrats to Luke for talking to Crush. When we were there last year the kids wanted to be picked so badly.

Too bad about the ugly Ariel. When we went last year Rachel was very excited to see her favorite princess Sleeping Beauty, but when we saw her she had lipstick on her teeth and the girls said she needed to pluck her eyebrows. Rachel said this ruined her experience and doesn’t like Sleeping Beauty anymore.

The Kim Possible attraction sounds like a lot of fun. Can’t wait to do that one. Luke and Lauren looked like that had a lot of fun doing it.

Boy, Luke had one lucky day that day. First Crush and then HoopDeeDoo. We are going to see that show when we go in Oct. I am real excited because I haven’t seen it yet.

It sounds like it was a rough trip for Tim with that knee of his. What kind of surgery did he have. I had ACL reconstructive surgery in 1990 after a skiing accident. Til this day it still acts up on me and gets stiff and swollen if I am walking too much.

Loved the shirt Luke made. What he put on his shirt sounds exactly like something my niece would say.

Sorry about the experience at Coral Reef. When we went last year we had a fantastic waitress and we enjoyed our meals immensely.

Now that I am all caught up I can’t wait to read more.

coming out of lurkdom to say I was so excited when I found this TR! Loved your previous ones and as I have a DS7 I love to see the adventures nd what he kids do and don't like. Disney is surely our happy place! we get to do a couple shorty trips each year-b/c we live so close. But DS is always begging to go longer! Secretly i'd love to. Maybe next year....

I love how innocent the kids always look when they are sleeping in their strollers...dreaming Disney dreams!!! What a day...she needed a good sleep I guess! I bet you all were thankful for the bed when you got back!

Lesley, Lauren reminds me of myself when I was a child. I used to dance all over the place, even into my teenage years! (My mom says it drove her nuts ;))
So you have a lot to look forward to indeed.

I can't believe Rico's attitude at the Coral Reef. He should seriously be let go...no, that's too nice--FIRED is the operative word. I would have to agree that you were GENEROUS in leaving a $5 tip.

The rest of the day looked wonderful. I only wish that Tim's knee wasn't bothering him so much. I'm looking forward to reading more, but wary of what's to come with his knee.

I am seriously addicted to your TR! Your family is just the cutest. You just seem so fun, and I love reading all about your adventures!! :)

I'm sorry about Coral Reef, that place seems so hit or miss. We ate there in early June and had a wonderful waitress but this Rico guy sounds horrible!! Luckily you had a great rest of your night after that.

Can't wait to read more!!

WHY? WHY? WHY is it so hard for me to keep on TR's????? Maybe it's because I'm envious of everyone's Magical moments that I didn't get to partake in this year. (although I'm very happy that everyone had a good time on their personal vacations) ;)
What an awesome memory for Luke to be up on that stage. That will be his "remember that time..." story. Everyone needs one of those. Laurens' will be, "remember that time that Luke gave me a hug while we were standing in line?" ;) Hopefully they remain close friends through those ugly teen years.
Truly am sorry that Tim was having such a rough go with his knee. It's no fun to hurt while you're trying to have a good time. Hopefully he had some good meds to take every night.
I think it's great that you and your family could connect with another family from the DIS and make a life long friendship. It would be fun to share Disney moments with friends.
Looking forward to another 8 days of reports!!

Just getting all caught up. I am sorry that your meal at Coral Reef was so bad. I think it is neat you guys are going to be in Disney at the same time as Diane and her family next year. Are you going to do a PTR for the trip in Oct? That is coming up quickly also. Can't wait to read more about this trip!

I'm sorry, I was worried about owners at SSR, I don't want to offend anyone, it's Disney and I'm sure you will have a great time, we personally just love love love AKL. OHana is great, enjoy it when you go!

Lesley-I don't think you offended anyone-especially me! And I hope that I didn't come across that way to you. I guess what I was trying to say is that as a fan of your TR's, I value your opinion!:) Don't apologize...you are entitled to your right to have your own opinion!!!! It's good that we don't all love the same resorts!!

Yeah, this thing fills up quickly, such fun! Happy reading!

That's funny about Sleeping Beauty, ours in Norway had lipstick on her teeth last year too. He had knee resurfacing done, they had to scrape out a bunch of "stuff" from around his knee. Yeah, we've always had good Coral Reef experiences but this one was just the pits. Yes, Luke did have lucky lucky trip!
coming out of lurkdom to say I was so excited when I found this TR! Loved your previous ones and as I have a DS7 I love to see the adventures nd what he kids do and don't like. Yeah! I love it when people come out of "lurkdom", welcome! Glad you are enjoying it. I wish we lived closer!

I love how innocent the kids always look when they are sleeping in their strollers...dreaming Disney dreams!!! What a day...she needed a good sleep I guess! I bet you all were thankful for the bed when you got back!
I know, so funny when they sleep at Disney. Yes, we were very thankful for our beds that night!

Oh, Lauren's dancing doesn't drive me nuts, I love it, but it DOES drive Luke nuts ; ) Rico's attitude was horrible, I'm regretting not saying something to a manager. Yeah, the knee does get worse, I'll warn ya....

I am seriously addicted to your TR! Your family is just the cutest. You just seem so fun, and I love reading all about your adventures!! :)

Well, glad you are getting caught up. Yes, that will definitely go down in Luke and my memory, him being on stage at the HDDR! I hope my kids remain friends too, it's a love hate with them but luckily a LOT more love than hate. It is great being friends with Diane and her family now, we are reallylooking forward to next summer with them!

Glad you got caught up. I don't know if I'll do a PTR for October, if I do it would be super super short. We've already done everything, bought our MNSSHP tickets, booked BBB for Lauren and Pirates League for Luke for the party, we're staying at BLT, CAN'T WAIT! And we booked airfare, that one may just be a report.
Lesley

Thank you, I am glad that I didn't- I appreciate your kind comments. You are absolutely correct- I'm glad we don't all have the same taste : )

Day 10:
So this day will be unique because I will report on our morning and then TIM will have to muster up his trip reporting abilities to report on his morning. So, the following is our ENTIRE day from my end, but then Tim and Luke will get together to report on their morning, so stay tuned for that!
We woke up around 9:00 this morning and Tim and Luke headed to Hollywood Studios and Lauren and I headed to Magic Kingdom. I was dreading this because it was Early Magic Hours at Magic Kingdom but we had Lauren’s Bippety Boppety Botique reservation for that day, so it was a must. I packed up her Cinderella dress inside a Mickey bag and we headed to the park:
001DesktopResolution.jpg

It was crowded as I expected, the Brazilian tour groups were there:
002DesktopResolution.jpg

Gotta love Main Street, this horse is GORGEOUS!
004DesktopResolution.jpg

HELLO!!!!
005DesktopResolution.jpg

View of the castle above the crowds:
006DesktopResolution.jpg

I REALLY wanted to ride Jungle Cruise today, we hadn’t done that yet this trip, so we headed towards Adventure Land:
008DesktopResolution.jpg

We had our Jungle cruise Fast Passes in hand quickly:
011DesktopResolution.jpg

We had time to kill and the Tiki Room show was just starting and I KNEW I would never get Tim to go with me again, so Lauren and I went into the Tiki Room Show:
009DesktopResolution.jpg

It was corny as always but Lauren and I left singing “In the Tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki room, in the tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki room…………..” (you know the rest).
All of a sudden the skies opened up and it started POURING!!!!! So we grabbed tables and I got us Dole Whip floats. The guy misunderstood me and just did the Dole Ice Cream at first, so that one was on the house. Here is Lauren two fisting the ice cream:
014DesktopResolution.jpg

012DesktopResolution.jpg

And here is a yucky soaked Lesley enjoying the float, they are SOOOOOO yummy!
013DesktopResolution.jpg

We sat there for a long time and this rain just was not going to be one of those quick Florida storms, it was going to be an all day soaker, so we busted out these beauties (sorry Sooze):
015DesktopResolution.jpg

And we headed over to use our Jungle Cruise Fast Passes, I was so bummed because they had closed it down due to lightning (which I did not see, but oh well). So…….. what to do, what to do………. We headed over to Tomorrowland. We grabbed Fast Passes for Buzz Lightyear
020DesktopResolution.jpg

and went to ride Lauren’s new Magic Kingdom favorite- The Carosel of Progress. It was at that point that my poncho came off for the day, it was pouring but I just couldn’t stand that wet sticky plastic on my skin any more, needless to say I was SOAKED from head to toe the rest of our time at Magic Kingdom. You know what though, I’d actually rather be wet at the Magic Kingdom than burning hot to the point where you are wet with sweat.
C.P. ride did not disappoint we left singing in that one too: “There’s a GREAT big BEAUTIFUL tomorrow………”.(you know the restJ) Then we went over to Cosmic Rays for lunch (closest location since I wasn’t wearing my poncho anymore. On our way there we ran into this AWESOME talking garbage can, I’d never seen it before. It would wheel around and talk to kids, say “thank you” when they put trash in”. He kept running up behind this one little girl and every time she took a sip of apple juice it would scream to get her to spit it out, it was very cute and funny, Lauren and I loved it:
017DesktopResolution.jpg

I took a video of it. Listen, because the funniest part is when the lady carries her child up to the him and the can says something about bringing a child to Disney to throw them in the trash, too funny!

So after the trash can fun we headed inside Cosmic Rays Cosmic Rays was insanely busy due to the rain and lunch hour but we lucked out and found a table:
019DesktopResolution.jpg

Poor Lauren was subjected to those yucky kids chicken nuggets again and I had a chicken sandwich, it was just an “o.k.” lunch. After that we headed to Buzz to use our Fast Passes:
021DesktopResolution.jpg

Here’s my score:
022DesktopResolution.jpg

And our pic (you can barely see Lauren’s head : )
023DesktopResolution.jpg

CONTINUED IN NEXT POST

After that we headed (in the POURING rain) towards the Bippety Boppety Botique in the castle. When we got there they gave us our own “dressing chambers” and Lauren got into her dress we brought from home:
024DesktopResolution.jpg

Buying a dress from Disneyshopping.com for 29.99 compared to the 149.99 they wanted for dresses there was a no brainer. She got tons of compliments on her dress too which was nice. We checked in about 15 minutes before our time and still had to wait FORTY FIVE minutes to be called, it seemed like forever.
Pics I took while we were waiting:
025DesktopResolution.jpg

026DesktopResolution.jpg

Then Lauren was FINALLY called, her Godmother in Training was AWESOME!
027DesktopResolution.jpg

028DesktopResolution.jpg

We did the package with the hair and makeup (no nails this time). Here she is getting her makeup on (they do it so light and tasteful, you can barely even see it):
031DesktopResolution.jpg

032DesktopResolution.jpg

My VERY happy Princess:
033DesktopResolution.jpg

The next part is funny, and it effected Lauren more than I realized. The Godmother really played this up and said “Lauren, ever since you sat down I’ve been thinking and thinking about what we could do for your hair to make it extra special” At this point Lauren was on the edge of her seat thinking this was so cool, she turned her around and had made this HUGE pointy thing out of her hair (they do this to wrap it around the bun) and she said “How about UNICORN style Lauren!?!”
034DesktopResolution.jpg

For a moment Lauren thought she was serious and looked extremely concerned. I didn’t realize what an impact I had on her until we left because she said “mommy, PLEASE don’t tell daddy about the Unicorn part”, so funny.
Anyway, here are some more pics of us getting closer to the final result:
035DesktopResolution.jpg

036DesktopResolution.jpg

037DesktopResolution.jpg

038DesktopResolution.jpg

043DesktopResolution.jpg

Time for the BIG reveal:
045DesktopResolution.jpg

046DesktopResolution.jpg

047DesktopResolution.jpg

So pretty! (my little girl is growing up so fast, so I’m so glad we were able to do this when she is young and WANTS to do it, because I know those days will be gone all too soon!):
048DesktopResolution.jpg

I was SO bummed because the Photopass guy took all kinds of Awesome photo’s of her and then he made this grimace and said “my machine just broke”, AUGH!!!!! So we have NO Photopass photo’s of this, stunk!
So, my major concern as we were leaving was it was STILL POURING!!! What about her dress, and the hair we just spent a fortune on? Well luckily they were giving out granny hairnets (I call them these because my grandma always wore them):
So I put it on her head, stuck her in the stroller, and covered her with a poncho (shoved every square inch of that Cindy dress under the poncho) and walked as quickly as I could to the exit. You could RING me out by the time we got to the bus, but the princess stayed dry:

I kinda felt sorry for her because usually on the day we “do her up” she gets all kinds of compliments and she didn’t get one today because she was all covered up, oh well. We headed back to the resort to meet up with the boys in the room, Lauren couldn’t wait to show Tim, of course he went nuts when he saw her and Luke was great this year and complimented her as well (good big brother!:)
We headed down to the bus stop to head to dinner:

Tim’s knee was still killing him so I was trying to think of the best way to get to the Grand Floridian for our 1900 Park Fare dinner without him having to walk much. So we took the bus to Downtown Disney and planned on getting off there and getting the bus to the Grand Floridan. HUGE mistake, it took AN HOUR. Went to DTD, had to wait 15 minutes for the G.F. bus, THEN to Paradise Island, THEN to Typhoon Lagoon, THEN to Wilderness Lodge, then FINALLY to the Grand Floridan. Best for Tim’s knee, avoided the rain but we were late for dinner.
Here is the princess late for the ball:

We checked in for dinner. Diane had told us about this lady who was in the lobby with all of these teddy bears like on display and how weird it was, WELL SHE WAS THERE!!! Of course Tim couldn’t just leave her alone, he had to go up and talk to her. She told him that the bears were here babies and she takes care of them and puts more fur on top of them and dresses them and she actually refused to show him one of them in the bag because it “wasn’t dressed yet”. WOW!
Here they are:

When we told Diane and Bryan they were DYING!!! O.K, I have to preface this with the fact that we knew nothing about her, later in our trip we find out a lot more about her due to inquiring and it makes us feel VERY sorry for this lady. So although we were dying laughing at the time, we feel badly for her now and will explain it as the TR goes on……… so stay tuned!
We headed inside for dinner, they took this picture, which I actually bought the package of because the one they took was just so darn good!

We went in and before we could even get food Cinderella came by:

Then we got to load our plates up with food, the buffet here is just so yummy! They have such a great variety – next to Boma it’s my favorite buffet.
Anastasia came by, she was HALARIOUS! Tim started talking to her:

Then he told her that we were excited for her to come over because we thought she was Ariel, this was her reaction:

She said she was MUCH prettier than that stinkin’ Ariel. Then she posed with the kids:

Drisella came by and was silly too:

Lady Tremaine played the part wonderfully, I was worried Lauren would be scared of her, but she was actually kinda nice;

My happy girl at Dinner:

Then Prince charming came by, he was soooooo nice. He ran over to Lauren and said “I JUST HAVE TO HAVE MY PICTURE TAKEN WITH YOU RIGHT THIS SECOND!!!” Which of course she LOVED:

Then he did a “manly” pose with Luke:

He said to Luke “keep this up and you’ll be doing this some day for sure!” He was so nice!
After a great dinner with great character interaction we headed back to the hotel. We texted Diane on the way back to see where they were so she could see Lauren. She met us at the bus stop, we were wearing the same shirts, so funny!

Then we let the kids get their suits on and go swimming:

We had rented movies from the Community Hall (you can rent 3 DVD’s at a time) earlier and so we told the kids it was movie night. We headed up for Spy Kids 3.

So you don't see a t.v. here because Tim and Luke will write their version of the Day 10 morning at Hollywood Studios and THEN we can move onto day 11 ; )

Hey Lesley, you’ve never heard of Push before? (that’s the trashcan’s name, just take a sec to think and you'll figure out why) In your video you can actually spot how it’s done if you look closely. (PM me if you want to know the secret :) )

You know, Anastasia was RIGHT in this case---I think that she WAS actually much prettier than the Ariel you saw earlier in the trip

LOVE the picture of Lauren at the pool…too funny!

Even though you got SOAKED, it seemed like SUCH a fun day. You manage to pull the sunshine out of each and every day, no matter the weather! :goodvibes
