Wow, meaners, everyone is up and at'am this morning! Great way to start our Friday, isn't it?
I missed my run too Tracy! I had the plan to run during baseball practice last night, but the weather didn't cooperate with my plans, darnit! It was a terrible lightening, thunder and downpour. B-ball practice cancelled along with my plans to get in 5 miles.
I couldn't face my TM, so I did 45 min of stretching (my normal class routine) and then 45 min of Bender ball (core, buns and thigh workout). I am glad to get something done, but I missed my run. My plan was to get up this morning to run, but alas, I couldn't talk myself in to getting up (darn Olympics!). So, now I am faced with a full day and no more time to run.......
I hate when LTO!
WWDave: Thanks for the thoughts! Yeah, the wagon tips are getting harder as the days pass......and some of them are quite lame.......but I am still trying hard to be motivated!
Lisa: Toe food????? So funny........why does he call it that? WTG with the consistent runs......I have a hard time with it. I slow down and speed up during my whole run. I would rather be consistent.....and not out of breath!
Jeff: Loved the pictures! You make me laugh!
Running with a computer bag......could be the next form of cross training! Good of you to get it to a police officer. To bad the computer wasn't in it too! (extra weight for X-training!!!
)
Howard: You are the Lean Meaners front line man! Speedy times, and you can be there for hugs at the end of the race!
Wendy: Of course, this is the place for understanding all the milestone moments. I can think of many more to come for you! You are definitely on your way!
Connie:
PD for the shoulder MRI. Hope that it doesn't mean surgery for you!
To the rest of the meaners........
Have a great Friday!
Wagon Tip of the Day: Fiber (in Lisa's spirit). We all know the importance of fiber in the diet, but yes.......it can cause certain issues. Being on a low carb diet, I know all about those 'issues'. I have found water and good source of problem solving. But, magnesiusm also it a great way to 'move things on'. Adding some extra magnesiusm every day, helped me alot. I took it in supplement form. Once my system was used to the fiber, things evened out nicely.

When my DS was about 3, we were in a grocery store, he was watching a petite woman with her child who was about 6 mos old. In a very loud voice he annouced that "she's just a little mother, not a big mother like you!" I am 5'6" and only weighed 130 lbs at the time!
I had a 5 minute walk break in between. I tried my exercise ball DVD yesterday for 30 minutes. I don't like it as much as the pilates (super annoying instructor), but they did show some good crunches to do with the ball that I think i will try to do every other day.
for everyone!
You have to do what seems right for you and aligns best with your goals.
I hope the migraines are gone.

ixiedust: for the pain.
So, I didn't get in my C25K this weekend. Hoping to feel good enough to get out there tonight, even if I do it a bit slower than I'd like. I did walk 1.5 miles on the beach yesterday.
beer. It's definitely my major weakness! I have no problem giving up sweets and that sort of thing, but beer is another story. I know they have those shirts that say I run so I can eat, I would love one that says I run so I can drink!
and

lol) I can eat all the time so I drink extra water to fill my growly belly. Keep us updated on your progress.
I hope you are feeling better and just trying to catch up on everything else in your life.
This is just sadness for me. Too young to die. Too young to not take care of yourself. So, get out there and exercise, eat right and hold onto the wagon everyone!!!
