The Colts had guys handing them Gatorade all the time. I don't know how KISS did it, I think they had fans pointed at them, but unlike most concerts you never saw them drink anything on stage, I can't understand how they do it.

I'm not a big KISS fan but WOW! that concert sounded awesome!!! So glad you all enjoyed it and had such a great time.

And how wonderful to meet up with Bill's old friends! 17 years!!! It's amazing how technology can connect us, isn't it?

I had a lot more fun at that concert than I thought I would. Bill's friends were amazing, they were talking like they had just seen each other last month. It was wonderful.

and I am FREAKING OUT!!

We are 64 days away from the Ip Dip trip. Usually by now I have all sorts of plans made, days completely mapped out etc. Right now I have what parks on what days but the only things I have definately planned is Ip Dip Dinner on Saturday Oct. 23rd and possibly seeing Jodi and family at MNSSHP on the 21st . This is just WRONG

There are some changes to report. We are NOT saying at Pop this trip

, can you believe it? Neither can I, but we decided since we are going to be there in December to try another resort, so we are staying at Port Orleans Riverside to stalk, I mean hopefully see lazydoxy and ScottNY. Three Ip Dipper families at one resort can you imagine the booze that we could drink together

? Maybe we could see Yeehaw Bob there one night, who knows? I need to see what days he is there.

We were also going to do the quick service plan and just pay for the Ip Dip dinner out of pocket but after I saw the 30% AP discount we decided to do the regular dining plan. Scheduling ADR’s at 65 days out has been an adventure, but here are the plans so far:

October Ip Dip Trip: Oct. 21st – Oct. 25th

Oct. 21st: Arrive at POR, check in, ferry to DTD, T-Rex out of pocket lunch. Back to the room, freshen up and then off to Magic Kingdom to get our AP’s and go to MNSSHP. We will focus on the party stuff only, we can do rides any time. Hope to see Jodi and family this night, we adore her family.

Oct. 22nd: Epcot day, Soarin etc in Future World then check out the Food and Wine Fest offerings. Garden Grill for dinner, then Illuminations.

Oct. 23rd: Animal Kingdom day, back to POR to freshen up then bus to DHS, friendship boat to Beach Club, Ip Dip dinner at Captain’s Grille. We are still talking about what to do after dinner, might be Jellyrolls, might be to MK for EMH and us seeing MSEP, some are talking about possibly checking out Buzz’s Treehouse Villa. I am sure at some point the plan will come together.

Oct. 24th: Disney Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Mania as many times as we can

then friendship boat to the Boardwalk for lunch at ESPN, back to DHS. We will hang out here the rest of the day and do Fantasmic.

Oct. 25th: Since the Magical Express will pick us up at around 11:30am we will probably just hang at the resort. It doesn’t bother us to not spend the last day in the park because we will be back in less than 40 days to meet more friends!

We have one more ADR to figure out and I have no clue yet what restaurant or what day to put it since he wil NOT give up T-Rex, little boy in a grown up body .

So there you have it, finally plans for October.

Next up…the binder, some purchases, and who knows what else!

One question... don't you have to have your AP before you check in to get the AP discount?

How would Bill get into the Tree House ? I thought only a couple of them had ramps insteasd of stairs.

Any thoughts for a TS meal the morning of your departure, or would that be cutting it too close? My only suggestion would be for a dinner one your DHS day.

Hi Amy! We loved POR last time and thought why not? I have never been asked for my AP at check in, I already have my voucher and will have that with me if asked. If there is an issue we will drop off our carry on stuff at bell services and go get the voucher exchanged .

Hi Heidi! I think Jellyrolls would be really fun. Bill wouldn't be able to get into the Treehouse, we wouldn't go, we would probably go to MK for EMH. We would have loved to do Boatwrights breakfast the day of departure but they have discontinued it since we have been there .

How great is a boatride to DTD to kickoff your trip?

Jellyrolls sounds like fun after dinner but MK for MSEP sounds like a great way to end the night too.

On a side note I am so excited b/c I just booked a trip for next Sept!!! YAY! I just don't know if I can wait that long.

I do that when reading TRs sometimes . We love the boatride from POR. I have no idea what will happen after dinner, we just have to go with the flow . We aren't big breakfast people at all. I don't eat hardly anything before I get on the plane either. I have this huge fear I will get stuck in the airplane bathroom and fall on the floor getting out of it like Chris Farley in Tommy Boy .

We are hoping for Bayou Building 14 that is where we were last time. It is right by the food court and there is a quick back path to the busses. I am looking for pixie dust with that request . I am so happy you booked a trip!! I know you will have a great time.

We have stayed there once and loved it. We could ride the ferry to DTD every night we just love how relaxing it is. Bill is already planning the trip after these two, he says he wants the next one to be just about us not all sorts of meets.

I have a stinking suspicion this is his tactic to either go to ESPN weekend or Star Wars Weekend . We will see, have to use those AP's don't we?
