Finally caught up here - phew! The KISS concert looks like it was alot of fun! What a perfect day for Bill it seems.

I think you will love POR! We only stayed there once, in the 90's, when it was still Dixie Landings. Though I have visited there recently and just fell in love with it! The grounds are gorgeous, food court is awesome, and they've got Yehaa Bob! If you guys get the chance to catch one of his shows I can't recommend it enough. One of the highlights of our trips and something I try to fit it every time if at all possible.

Woo hoo! All caught up!! It turns out that we'll be in WDW the same time as you in Oct and Dec!

DH and I are going without the kiddos in Oct, the 18th - 23rd.

DH, myself, our kiddos, DH's parents, sister and her gamily are going Dec 4th-13th!

All of you're mini trips sound like a lot of fun! I love your pictures from TN! Too bad it was so hot!

The weekend in Indianapolis for training camp and Kiss sound like a lot of fun! DH and I actually saw the Colt beat the Patriots about 12 or 13 years ago while we were in college in RI. We have friends that are huge Pats fans and we went with them! DH was secretly going for the colts

So, did you have any luck with the CP packages this morning?! I called for and hour and a half before I got through. Then was on hold for over 30 minutes! Luckily I still got our second choice! Biergarten on the 5th! I just don't know the narrator yet!

Life always seems to bless and sadden us at the same time around here. So here is the run down:

Good things:

- Bill has started a Tenants Association for our building and the surrounding two that are owned by the same people. There are many things we can do as a community to make this a better place to live and become a closer neighborhood.

- We will be going to another meeting in Springfield, IL for his volunteer advocacy group. We can’t wait to see the people again, they are wonderful.

- Bill has been building a website for a client at work, now his boss wants him to make up a marketing plan etc for this client and do some things for other clients. This makes Bill happy since he is working more hours and is feeling useful. He has extra hours through the middle of November…. can you see where I am going with this??

Bad things:

- The Tenants Association will be a hard endeavor. So many people complaining, yet not willing to do a darn thing to help change things, but Bill the optimist wants to try. I am right by his side to do what I can. We are hearing rumors that the manager we are working with was fired Friday, I am praying that is wrong.

- The only bad thing about the advocacy group is the drive, there have been so many accidents on the interstates lately because drivers are NOT paying attention to road work zones. Also, it is always hard leaving Ace, we miss him when he is not with us.

- It is fantastic that Bill gets more hours that they believe in him more, but I knew there was going to be a downside when he was talking about it. So what’s the downside? He can’t get the time off for us to go down to Ip Dip.

I know many people could hop a plane on Friday evening to WDW then come back on Sunday, but that would NOT be good for Bill’s body at all. I should have done like I had said before, just kept my mouth shut and surprised the Ip Dippers if we were going. I feel like a complete idiot for flip flopping on this trip again and again.

The December trip is still on. Since we gave up October, we are extending the December trip. I will post binder and other pictures in the next installment, then go to day by day plans in future installments.

Again I am so sorry to all the Ip Dippers, please forgive us.

Next up…. How much ink can I use for the binder?

Tracy and Bill,

Wow, you weren't kidding when you said good and bad!! But really when you look at the list, the good really does outweigh the bad... Your Ip Dip friends will understand and will be there again next year I am sure. I think it is GREAT that Bill is getting more hours at work, and is doing so much with the advocacy group and you guys are taking on the Tenant's Association...

You guys know what is best for you, and it seems like you are doing just that!

I know saying good bye to a trip is hard, but just focus on December and being able to celebrate your birthday in your favorite place with your favorite person...

Awww Tracy, I'm so sorry. I know you are a people-pleaser by nature, so it's disappointing to have to change plans around, but it definitely looks like the good outweighs the bad. It's great that Bill is getting the extra hours and is in such high demand! Your ip-dippers understand, I'm sure!

Your trip in December is going to be so amazing and I cannot wait until we get to hear all about it!!

I have to admit, my heart stopped for a second when I saw you canceled a trip. I was hoping it wasn't the December trip because I am looking forward to meeting you and Bill. Sorry you had to cancel one at all. I am sure your IP Dip friends will understand.

Wow, Tracy, Life sure is a two-sided coin!

Naturally I'm glad for Bill on the job front and "extracurriculars"... its about time someone appreciated his talents.

Oh my, I'm so sorry about October; I know you were really psyched for it. But I'm so happy that there will be a silver lining to the cloud and you'll be able to extend your December trip!
