Because I'm the Boss Of You That's Why! Last day, HOP ONBOARD!!! Updated 12/11

I really should be working on my next post but am loading and deleting songs on my Ipod. Me and a friend are running a race tomorrow, only a 5K so nothing major but we drove it today and O.M.FREAKING.G. I am going to DIE. The first 1 1/2 miles are WICKED (followed with rhymes with with witch) HILLS. LIKE I HAVE NEVER SEEN. I is scared :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: It's at 11 am EST so PLEASE cross all fingers and toes for me!

Bell's is Bell's, her usual body slammin' self but we found out today that she has slight scoliosis (from x-ray's last week), somewhat of an extra vertabrae (or something like that) and has been having headaches and leg pain so was fit with orthodics and needs to see the chiro 2 times a week. I see him to so no biggie and he has worked wonders so.... we'll see. The younger she is and the sooner we take care of it, the better.

Think of me and the latest family dramz in my life. That's all I ask :sad2: :grouphug: You know how we all feel unappreciated nomatter what sometimes. I'm lucky I have Pierre.......

hey Leyla,
geez i hope Bella is ok!!! I'll be thinking of her.:grouphug: will she have to where a brace? or hopefully its not that bad??
anyway, congats on the Pamp chef!! my sis- in- law used to be a consultant, we used to get that stuff all the time, i miss getting all that stuff!!!
and no i have NOT heard from Howy, have you?? i'm just gonna book through DCL s i know i wont have this problem again.
oh, i almost forgot!! good luck tomorrow on your run!!! i could never run in a race, i think i would just pass out after 2 min. you should see me try to run on wii fit (not a pretty site). and thanks for the muffin recipe- i will have to try it, sounds delish!!!!
ok, off to bed
Sue

Good luck with the race tomorrow! Hills can make a 5k seem like a marathon!

I hope Bella's headaches and leg pain gets better with treatment. Poor girl!

You're definitely appreciated around here, Leyla!

If you go to disneyworldmoms.com I'm going to be one of the panelists starting January. I'm off to WDW in 2 weeks for an all expenses paid 5 day training course and we also get an all expenses trip for the 4 of us later in the year :thumbsup2 Oh and my sister is moving to NYC at the end of December so I'll definitely be over at some point :goodvibes

Wow Jo good for you. see what happens when I stop reading the Focker thread. I misds everything.

Okay, totally jel! How fabulous is that???!!! Your poor girls must be in a frenzy with envy!!!!! :grouphug: to them!
The girls are a bit of both, so proud and so jealous, the family trip is a huge sweetener though :rotfl2: I'll do a TR on my return so look out for it :thumbsup2

BUT we will MOST absolutley have to plan on an NYC meet whenever you get over here. I'm only a quick train ride away and actually live in a very touristy area. I can give you and your sis lots of info if you want to PM me. Is she moving for her work or her dh's work? I'm so freakin' nosy. But you know that already! :)
It's her work, she's going to sort out the NYC office, they're moving to near Westchester. Not sure when we'll visit as the flights cost a bomb but I'll let you know :goodvibes

Thanks Scott, I've only known for 2 weeks :goodvibes

K, so I've had a few crappy weeks but yesterday I bought a bottle of wine and when I walked out the packy I saw a penny on the ground. I looked for a minute, debated then decided to pick it up and keep it as my lucky penny.

I was the first female to finish the 5K :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
I kicked MANY guys bootays!

Not sure of my time, maybe 25 something minutes!

THEN, I just got a call from a co-worker of Pierre's to have her hair done with the straightening. To the tune of $250 for 3 hours. Um, sweet!

Let me tell ya, pick them pennies up!

I never had a doubt that you would kick major booty out there!!!! :cool1: You're a rock star, plus I know you followed the rule we developed: Just put your head down and keep pumping your arms and legs 'til you see the finish line! :rotfl: Congrats!

I keep meaning to tell you that the Rachael Ray show was at Disney World a few weeks ago! I don't watch it regularly, but apparently it was some cooking competition that she does. I saw the previews for it and knew I had to check it out. In one part, they were in Epcot, which made me wistful for the awesome day we spent there :sad1: (well, awesome except for Cooper putting that leaf in his mouth  ).

Speaking of which, I had a few more great photos I wanted to share. I realize these are really late in the sequence of the TR – but, hey – any chance to go back and relive the fun is worthwhile!! ;)

First, a great shot of the L family on our way to DTD. Don't they look happy? :cloud9:

Just one of the amazing light fixtures at AKL. The decorations really fit the motif! If you have the chance to stay at AKL, I definitely recommend it. :thumbsup2

Mickey & Company at the opening of Epcot. I think this shot came out reasonably well, considering I had to shoot it by holding my camera up in the air. I’m vertically challenged! :rotfl:

Leyla with her yummy lemon drink in France. Despite the gear, I know we were all thinking: "Rain? What rain? I don’t feel any rain – I’m at Disney :woohoo: !!"

Leylawithheryummydrink.jpg

The candy art lady making Bella & Cooper’s cheetah. She was very talented. Leyla, did anyone ever actually eat that candy?????? I just realized that I have no idea what became of it once she handed it over to Bella............

CandyArtLady.jpg

Bella as a tomboy bellydancer. I wonder if she's thinking, "I look too much like a GIRL in this outfit!" :rotfl2:

Bellabellydancer.jpg

Cooper as a bellydancer. Oh, come on – he’s so freakin’ cute, who in the world would have the heart to tell him that he should be wearing a fez instead of a beaded veil?? He could wear a paper bag and he’d STILL be cute as heck :lovestruc

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!!!! :flower3:

Congrats on the 5K finish! I just did my first this past weekend and I am not a runner! I think I did alright, considering it was my first time!! :rotfl2:

You need to come check out my TR for 2 weeks ago! I drank around the world!!!!!:thumbsup2 :rotfl2: :worship: :cloud9: and can I say, I am in love with the grey goose lemon slush!!

Hey Leyla!!!!

Yo Jordan! How'd ya like the Peep pic? :lmao:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!!!! :flower3:

LOVE the pics! They are so cute, I know, my  Cooper. Wait till you get your hair stuff. Your name is spelled very phonetically correct, so sweet! I think the candy broke so I tossed it. I need you to snail me regular copies of the pictures.

Hey Leyla!!!!

Congrats on the 5K finish! I just did my first this past weekend and I am not a runner! I think I did alright, considering it was my first time!! :rotfl2:

Hey girl!!!!! I have not been able to do ANYTHING lately, wait a sec, (I need to put my Ipod on before I freak out on Pierre. He's in a chatty, fidgety, "annoyLeyla" mood) I have been lame about writing my own report, let alone reading. Dramz, I tell ya  I'll hop on soon!!!! I need a slush STAT

“Oh, who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SpongeBobFreakinSquarepants, that’s who. BUT like I said, Cooper was so happy to have his dream come true, he almost wore a “Striped Sweater….” Anymaways I was having a moment again :scared: (yes, I plan so much I can get stressed out but they just ignore me) so I unpacked a little. There are 2 pool areas and we were next to the smaller one that didn’t open till a bit later. We wanted to go to the other one since both kids were having spasms :hyper: and convulsions when they saw it all. Talk about heaven :cloud9: on earth for kids their age!

We walked over there finally and passed tons of cool stuff on the way. We had to go through the mall/arcade area where the food court, restaurant, Nick at Nite Bar, shops, etc. are. I stopped at the concierge desk quickly because I know we wanted to see the Nick at Nite show. Cause it was free and all. Ain’t much free nowadays! I also found out they did a couple of different “4-D” shows there so I decided I was going to take Coop later. POOL TIME! :woohoo:

2 seconds later; Bella’s smiling face

IMG_1043.jpg

Cooper BARELY left this thing alone the whole time. Like that other kid has a chance of using it, HA! :rotfl2:

IMG_1044.jpg

Told ya it was heaven for kids! I really like how it had the zero entry (same as AKL) and was really shallow in the play area. Remember, Cooper only THINKS he can swim!

IMG_1045.jpg

This faced to the left of the slide area. They even had special cabanas you could rent with glare free flat screen TV’s with Playstations, beds to lay on, someone at your beck and call all day. Whadalife!

IMG_1046.jpg

Oops, someone wasn’t expecting that!

IMG_1047.jpg

We got some bevies (shocker, I know…) and were waiting for the big dump. SLIME TIME! Oh my gosh, the kids had THE best time at this waterpark. It’s small and busy but boy oh boy is it fun!

IMG_1048.jpg

I tried to get Cooper to hit up the small slide but he was all set, ain’t havin’ it. NEARLY a “moment” time but I finally got him to go up the VERY small slide, grow a pair, ahem, then go down it. Mind you this whole process took about an hour….. It was starting to get busier and some pushy older boys were going down this one small, obviously meant for younger kids slide, smacking into each other at the bottom. Of course this turns Coops off but I was NOT going to let his day be ruined by this so, yeah, I told them off but very nicely, mind you! A couple of times. :rolleyes1 Then I told the lifeguard who did not seem the least bit interested, lamely telling the boys to quit it. They didn’t so I marched up there, grabbed an  arm or two, did the teeth grit talk and they listened after that. I was waiting for a Mom or Dad to come up to me but no-one did, I woulda been ready for that convo, though. Trust. I told our school principal last week she wasn’t doing her job properly. I also got on the kids bus and gave all the kids a piece of my mind. Oh, my poor kids, I do embarrass them but they are just so respectful and well behaved that it drives me nuts when other kids aren’t. BTW- my reasons for the school and bus things were totally legit. I’m not just a  crazazy lady! One of the girls I work with told our boss that I am the only one who says what everyone else is thinking….. BACK TO THE STORY!!!!

This whole sliming thing was taking forever!!!!!! There was a mechanical problem that took about 30 mins to fix. I went up to take a pic of everyone getting hit and ended up staying on the thing for quite a while and was worried that I was going to get water dumped on me and ruin my camera. The water seems to fly out from nowhere and hit ya all over that contraption.

IMG_1049.jpg

Then the chanting began “We want slime! We want slime! We want slime” Bella looks like Nemo with her orange shirt on in the middle of the crowd. Pierre is in the back and I’m sure Cooper was still on that water gun.

IMG_1052.jpg

Is this thing EVER going to go off???!!!

IMG_1053.jpg

I decided to make a run for it back down the stairs cause too much water was going everywhere. Bella looks a bit nervous here! :scared:

IMG_1050.jpg

FYI I’m really mad because I deleted pics towards the end of our stay (ran outta memory) and deleted the one of Bella with the slime on her. Can ya believe it???!!! It was a very watery green slime that can obviously be absorbed safely into the pool water. All the kids screamed with delight and loved it. I’m sure they all thought it was worth the wait!

We decided to head to the room for a bit and maybe check out the other pool. They had SO many neat character objects all over the place and Bells grabbed a seat for a quick chat. Maybe she needed a “clue”
:rotfl2:
IMG_1054.jpg

We had to go through the food court/shopping area to get there and saw this dude, Squiddy!!!!

IMG_1055.jpg

We got some tickets for me and Cooper to see the Spongebob 4-D show and decided to go right in since it was starting soon. Peeps and Bella took off. We got our glasses and went into the theater which was rather empty, not surprisingly since it was nice out. Our tix were $15  each so I thought, this betta be a darn good movie……..

It was AWESOME! The BEST 4-D show I’ve ever seen. It was about Spongebob, crabby patties, pickles, a guy being allergic to them and some kind of explosion. That was my Cooper recap. The smells were unbelievable, there were bubbles all over, crazy good and a total MUST DO!!!! Actually better than the Disney 3-D shows, don’t hate!!!

That’s all I have time for now so more later!

I was the first female to finish the 5K :woohoo:
Fantastic, well done :yay:

They sound nice, and pricey :rotfl2:

Wow good for you :thumbsup2

Thank goodness it was good!

I'm still looking at him like that! He was called an Okapi but I renamed him a zebraffe. Part zebra/part giraffe.

We got over to the hippo tank. To be honest we thought they were rocks till I overheard soemone say hippo and this one came up for air. I caught the pic perfectly!

IMG_0673.jpg

I turned around and Ecogirl had the most disgusted look on her face and was trying to wipe her arm off vigorously. BIG, SWEATY GUY ATTACK :scared: :scared1: Major grossness!!!!!! I kept an eye out for him that's for sure, didn't want anyone elses perspiration on me. Mines enough, thankyouverymuch!

I am off to work but will post some more of this day when I get back!!!!

Okay I may be a little late on replying to updates...sue me...

LOVE your expression.

I think that's the best picture of an underwater hippo that I've seen. The water is always too murky when we're there. You got lucky.

I'll be on the look out for SWEATY people next trip.....;)

K, so's anyways after we got the gross, sweaty guy sweat off of Ecogirl we headed over to the gorilla section. Gorilla's are cool guys, :cool2: ya know?! They just chill and walk with that "Nobody messes with me" swagger :snooty: We stopped in the little house/hut thing and I checked out my skull size

IMG_0674.jpg

Great minds think alike:
wdwfeb2008302.jpg

I ate mine wicked fast, as usual. and Ecogirl still had alot by the time we got to the Lion King so I stood in the misting fan for a quick cool off

IMG_0683.jpg

Is this your Titanic moment...all you need is Leonardo.

Line mojo is always a good thing:thumbsup2

And poor, unsuspecting Cooper, never realizing that his mom is teasing him in his sleep....
Disney1019.jpg

Those of you familiar with Leyla’s first trip report will not be surprised to see that this was Pierre’s expression on the ME trip from MCO to the Lodge....:lmao:
Disney1009.jpg

Me LOVES some good sleeping pix!!!!

I loved the bar set up and it was fairly cool under the awning. I took my usualy 15 minutes trying to decide what to drink before deciding a margarita on the rocks. EXTRA strong. Very good!

After 1 drink ;)

Liquid happiness...:cloud9:
