ok, yeah i'm all caught up!!!! (Dr. 90210 wes a repeat)!! yeah i am in your report!!how funny, i also wish we had a pic. taken that would have been nice. it was nice to finally meet you, Pierre and the kids! tell Peirre thanks for the drink! LOL!
i remember seeing that guy in the fugly bathing suit, how embarasing. there is no way i would let ANY one i know out of the house lookin' like that!!
what time did you get on the ship?? gosh you didn't miss anything,i wanted to see the sail away party,and hear the horn blow(can't beleive i missed that EVERY time we left). just have to wait for my next Disney cruise??? whenever that will be?? maybe 2010??, or unless we we a huge tax refund for this year, who knows?? but i'll tell ya' i'm hooked on the DCL.loved it!!
well i'm gonna hit the road now, gotta go to sleep! but i am glad i am all caught up now, i will try to post some pics. on monday- thats when i have off!! yeah for Federal Holidays!!

Ahoy, shiver me timbers, walk the plank matey and all that other pirate jazz. We were going to the rockinest pirate party on earth! Or at least in the Caribbean…. We made our way over to Animator’s Palate which is probably the most talked about restaurant on both DCL’s and were seated next to Dopey. NO, not Pierre, the real Dopey!

I was a camera dud during dinner and spent to much time talking rather than snapping a ton of shots or writing down what I ate. Pierre got a black and white wall pc of Bella and I

The walls were a mesh material with the lights behind them and they gradually lit up. The waiter’s all did their vest change but it seems much grander in the DCL Planning DVD. Or maybe I had 1 too many drinks, KIDDING! Mrs. Snotty and Mr. Braggy were quite jealous that our kids had pirate outfits on. Did you know that THEIR house is THE house EVERYONE in NJ goes to during Halloween. Apparently it’s HER holiday. Snicker, snicker. Yep, heard all about it. But we had one up on them (say that in your best sing-songy voice!) We all put on our Pirates in the Caribbean doo-rags and were being plain silly.

All in all dinner wasn’t too bad, I enjoyed chatting with them more tonight than last night and our kids really hit it off. They had done a dolphin excursion that morning so it was cool hearing about it. I would absolutely love to do that one day! We learned a bit more about them and they did us. Alot of people try to figure out what background I have because of my name I get Greek or Hawaiian alot, esp. since Greece is my MOST favorite palce on earth and have lived in Hawaii. No one ever guesses the real combo- full Iranian Dad and British Mother- so it makes for an interesting conversation. I've been lucky to enough to have traveled pretty extensively and have quite the colorful background nationalitywise plus I really enjoy talking about it

After dinner was over we all headed out together to see Pirate Mickey in the lobby. There was quite the line but the boys were having fun and I got some good pics

This is my MOST favorite picture of Cooper, I think ever. I love the sky and water in the background and his smile is so cute!

and here are both boys. Watch out kid, Ye intruders beware…… (I saw the Goonies yesterday LOVE,LOVE that movie!)

Uh-oh, meltdown time No more waiting in line for Coops. He changed his mind and didn’t want to see Pirate Mickey. Or go to the Pirate Party. And was going to be a miserable little git about it. BUT, do you guys really think moi cares? Nah, CAUSE I’M THE BOSS AND WE ARE GOING TO THAT PARTY. So there. We did head up to the room though for a quick relax before the party.

A bit later we went up to deck 9 and the Goofy Pool was covered up for the jam session. We were one of the first people there but the music was on and a few minutes later 2 crew members dressed up to the hilt came out they were dancing around trying to get the crowd excited. Like MY kids need any encouragement! OMG Bella got her groove on like I have never seen before. She started out running the pool deck, back and forth, back and forth, in all her pirate gear hootin’ n’ hollerin like she does. SO FUNNY! The lady pirate was dancing with her and I got a great pic of them. The crew member has a gorgeous face!

Cooper did enjoy himself and had fun running around too. I got them to stop for a second for this pic, they were already sweating!

Watch out folks, jacket off, deodorant working overtime on Miss Bella

Finally the real party started and was it a blast or what?! The crew does an absolutely fantastic job of getting the whole boat going! Pierre and I grabbed seats on the back railing of the pool, next to the hot tubs so it was a perfect view of everything.

Bella managed to trade nearly all of her pins at WDW and got a bunch of the cartoony pirate ones. Chip and Dale were the first 2 she got so I had to take this shot

Cooper was having another moment, he was tired, but I was hungry and saw the buffet being set up. Seeing as I like to eat I wasn’t heading out anytime soon. Sorry kid. I totally stalked the buffet and probably annoyed the workers but I wanted to be ready to pounce the moment it opened. I have always been in awe of carved food creations like this, doesn't that look cool? There were a few set up like this.

We made a couple of plates up but I don’t think anything was worth writing home about. Just average, oh well. The crowd was getting hyped up about the fireworks starting soon, I was dying to see them. We weren’t in the best place for viewing but as long as I could see them it was all good.. Cooper is not a big firework fan but he looks enraptured here. Or stunned.

After the show Cooper and I made our way back to the room. The second we got there he perked right up and wanted to know what we were getting from room service. Huh? What have I created here? Peeps and Bella had some partying left to do so they stayed and ended up having a great time. The night was SO SO SO SO much fun and a definite must do if you are on that boat! I love DCL!

The next day we were going to the ultimate best place on earth , it’s going to be the most fun installments for me to write about and Bella did her favorite thing on our whole vacation ever. I need to go back there!!!!! Calgon, take me away…. Keep checking back!

Great pics Sue! Geez, it looks like it really poured on your Epcot day. We stayed at the AKL that day then did DTD, it rained a bit but it seems Epcot got more.

Well, it's about dern time girlfriend!!!!!! I'm glad you are settled now! I still haven't found my cell phone, that's going on 2 weeks BUT I did find my credit card 2 days ago It was in the kitchen, I looked on my calendar to see what I did that day and I had my Pampered Chef party. I hid it in the cabinet so I wouldn't lose it after I put Sue's order on it. Have fun reading the cruise installments and I can't wait to see more of your pics! Love ya!

The Best Place on Earth

As I’m sure you’ve figured out in my routine, I woke up early and ambled on over to the gym. On my way up I grabbed a coffee on deck and quickly took in the view before going down, it was still a bit on the dark side so I had some time before I could take pictures. When I got to the fitness center I jumped on an elliptical in the second row and one of the trainers asked if the view wasn’t good enough for me. Um, not when the blinds are drawn, nutjob. He told me to get on a closer machine so I could have a front row seat and pressed a button. The blinds lifted and WOW! Just beautiful, I tell ya nothing beats sweating your butt off staring out at the big, blue sea, tunes crankin’ on the Ipod Jealous yet? You will be!

When I was done I wiped off the machine (you should always do this. I noticed a lot of people don’t) and headed up to the deck. I wanted to be where the action was and get some great pictures.There were a handful of other revelers up there staring off into the sea. How ‘bout these shots?!

That second one is just so stunning. Stunning, Stunning (as Scot Haney would say. Our weatherman. He’s hysterical) Castaway Cay is the land you see in the distance. I could feel myself getting choked up as I could see it coming in closer. I’d been dreaming of this place for 18 months and I put off my cruise last year because of free dining. It’s a good thing I did though, since I heard the day they went to CC the previous year was a total washout. We had some bright blue skies and a beautiful day ahead! YAY!!!!

I thought this was a really pretty shot of the Mickey Head flag waving in the warm Caribbean breeze.

I had the biggest smile on my face as I headed down the stairs to jump on Pierre and the kids and get them going. I be a hungry girl and we had busy plans all day. Like relaxing. We gathered up the things we needed and headed over to BBB, they had the bomb breakfast the day before so I was looking forward to it again.. Let me tell ya, it did NOT disappoint. But then again, whipcream does that to me…. JO- did I ever tell you how much I love a proper cream tea??? HEAVEN!!! We were among some of the first people off, woohoo! Pierre and Bella were parasailing at 9 am. I was SO nervous for her but she was ecstatic. I mean, my knees were knocking against each other, that’s how bad I was!!!! Then of course Pierre had to sign their lives away, not making me feel better…. I gave them both a hug and kiss and told them a thousand times to take pics with the disposable waterproof camera I had gotten for their experience. Cooper and I headed down to the beach after promising to keep an eye out for them.

Of course THIS is a very famous boat, no intro needed! It was very cool to see it in real life.

We walked down to the beach area, stopping at the store first, of course. I decided on buying the sand set with the Castaway Cay logo on it rather than the other ones. If I was going to spend $17 or whatever outrageous price on it, it better be original and not something anyone can buy at the Disney Store darnit. I also passed by the same Peep dressed in another equally embarrassing Speedo. Oh my goodness, some people!

We found some fabu loungers on the Family Beach and parked it. I just took it all in and my face nearly split in two from smiling. Of course Cooper was already in the water and begging my to go in with him so I did. It was slightly chilly but the sun was warm so it felt good, plus it was early so I knew it would heat up a bit more. There were a lot of tiny fish in the water so Cooper had a lot of fun chasing them and trying to catch them. Doesn’t the water look gorgeous!

We played for a while then I wanted to have a walk over to the rental area where I told Pierre to meet me (I actually thought THAT was the Family Beach) I didn’t know what time it was nor did I know how long they would be parasailing so we asked the staff but they had no idea. We wandered a bit but Cooper was desperate to get back in the water so we went back to the FB after I got these shots. Someone is parasailing in this pic but I’ll never know if it was Bella and Pierre. I’ll just assume it is!

I had a blast drinking my drink! Geez, that looks SO good!!!!!

We just relaxed but after nearly 2 hours I wanted to have another look for them. We hit the pavement and I spotted some wagons. Mr. Youknowwho made a beeline and jumped his bootie right in so I pulled him along. Whatever keeps him happy and quiet I guess! I decided to walk over to the pavillion and we saw Minnie Mouse on the way! I didn’t have my camera but we still stopped for a picture with her. Cooper just looks at the characters in total awe, so cute! After a hug we bid her farewell and went over to where I left Pierre and Bella and I finally saw them coming towards me. THEY ABSOLUTLEY ADORED IT Both of them were on cloud 9 so I was thrilled for them, I swear I nearly felt like I took the ride, I was so excited to hear all about it! They were walking with a mom and her daughter who was a bit older than Bella. They were doing a mother/daughter trip and were from California. The woman was super friendly and chatty and even though we only spoke on the walk back I liked her!

I led the way back to the family beach and we plopped down. Both kids jumped right into the water and had a blast paddling and splashing around. What a paradise!

Of course when they got out they had to fight over the sand toys. Grrrrrrr. We decided to go for a walk along the beach towards the wooden structure in the water that you can jump off of. Someone saw a large crab in the water and picked it up to discover it was dead so the kids actually got close. They thought it was AWESOME! Pierre stayed in the shallow area with the Coopman while Bella and I swam out to the dock. We had a lot of fun jumping off and some other kids were trying to go across holding onto the ropes. That is WAY too hard for me! I have never been able to get a hang monkey bars. We swam back and Bella was getting tired, she had to hang onto me so that definetly wasn’t easy! When we got to Pierre and Cooper we wanted to try out the paddleboats so we chatted about that for a few. Cooper was NOT into that, no ways, uh uh, notachance! He wanted into the kids club PRONTO. Um, okay, don’t have to twist my arm! We found out his age group was eating lunch so we dropped him off and he was very happy. Kisses goodbye and we were off to rent a boat!

Hi Sue, I did see some doubledips and that is what I would definetly book. In Feb/March 2010 I'm going to England though, probably with just the kids. Pierre likes it but not enough to go back. Enjoy the read! oh, BTW did you see what the Peep wore on CC?
