Because I'm the Boss Of You That's Why! Last day, HOP ONBOARD!!! Updated 12/11

Bummer news about my car who I have a love/hate relationship with. It's a Passat, FYI but the engine light was flashing which could mean the catalytic converter BUT there have been alot of problems with those cars regarding oil sludge in the engine.

Hey Leyla! Been busy here, what with the Stanley Cup and resulting parades and parties - you know - oh that's right, you don't - you're Bruins fans :lmao:

I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist. Anyway, what year is your Passat, and what engine does it have. There was indeed an extension of the warranty over an oil sludge problem, but the dealer was right, it was not a recall, and VW was very picky about the owners having proper documentation of every oil change, and that no oil change was even a mile (or a day) longer than recommended. If your car fits, you need to go to the dealer and tell them you want the warranty extension for the the engine oil sludge, and if necessary show him the story, let him know that you know that this exists. This was one story that I found, Passatt oil sludge problems. This was a copy of a letter sent out by VW: Letter from VW concerning oil sludge. There are a lot of other recalls out there, but year and engine would help a lot in narrowing them down. Best of luck!

Hi Fred- Pierre's bestfriend's brother and father (played for Bruins too) both played for the Red Wings previously so he was still pretty happy. I'm still waiting on my car but have had all of my oil changes with the dealership, they do them for free. It's a 2003 (I got it in 2005) and I'll admit I've not been that good about maintenance except for oil. It's also getting a tuneup this week but I hope the problem isn't too costly! I took it through emissions about 2 weeks ago and it was perfect so, we'll see!

There were some Milky bar fights, that's for sure :rotfl2: Cooper was all over the Curly Wurly's. I also got my fruit pastilles  but had to fight off Bella. Thanks for the car well wishes, I could use them!

Hi Cherie! I'm such a gossip sucker and rich people home gawker :rolleyes1 One of my clients went to LA and rented a limo with her girlfriend to stalk famous homes. They din't see anyone and nearly called me to find out where everyone was :rotfl2: "THEY" were all at Victoria Beckham's birthday party at the Pink Taco BTW ::yes:: how sad am I :lmao: I think we are going to rebook on board and get a 10% discount for our 10 year anniversary next Aug.

I had my Mother's Day facial yesterday and it was wonderful!!!!! It was at a fancy spa and my friend works there so of course I got the hookup ;) with extra's!

I'm going to include the link to my cousins' trip- ignore my silly, childish comments.... or not :rotfl:

Oh my gosh, I clicked the link for the pictures and I was laughing so loud at your comments that a co-worked came into my office to ask if I was okay!!! Ohhhh, I so love your reports! :rotfl:

Thanks! I LOVE those remixes but can't figure :confused3 out why the music keeps doing that!

So we've been arguing about her hair FOREVA because of that darn ponytail. She has gorgeous hair: exhibit #1

but will NEVER wear is down and she's OCD about tightening her ponytail (even if it's not in :rotfl2: , habit... which is just before bed) She's been bugging me to take off 3" but I kept telling her either just a TRIM or she has to cut off enough to send into Pantene Great Lengths. We went back and forth for about 30 mins this morning before I just went ahead and chopped it ::yes:: She was a little mad at first but  although I'm sure you can tell

IMG_0435.jpg

BUT I still got it into a pony tail so she's happy. Here are the after pics!

notice the ponytail holder ready to go

Just so you don't think I leave Cooper out here's a pic of him posing with a couple of buddies after T-ball

Ecogirl was over last night and we hid out in my room yapping away. We drank wine and ate salad in bed talking about life :hippie: and all it brings. I've had alot of epiphanies in my life lately all for the good :cloud9: She took home the cd of Bella's radio debut and is going to try and figure out how to post it.

Down to 66 baybees! I'll be trekking over to Home Depot soon to make our countdown calendar!

Very nice. I didn't realize Bella's hair was so long.

Awww, her hair looks great...she can still do the ponytail, PLUS a donation! Sounds win/win to me!! :thumbsup2

I'm so jealous that you get girl gab time of your own. I just don't understand why I can't do that with my girlfriends anymore. DH says he'll watch the kiddo's.:confused3 Guess everyone is just too busy.

Loved the slideshow!! :rotfl:

I know, and it looked like a rats nest yesterday and neither of us could brush it so chop, chop!

Bella's hair looks great -- and she can still put it in a ponytail -- that is always a plus! :thumbsup2

That was the first thing she did, in the last pic she's got her hairband ready to go :rotfl:

Her hair looks great!:thumbsup2

Thanks! It'll be better since it's been hot around here!

Her hair looks great and what a lovely thing to do :goodvibes

Thanks Jo, her uncle had cancer and died so we're sending the hair in his name.

Thanks Cherie! Ecogirl, my sister, and my neighbor are the only ones I do it but I RARELY go out. Only for birthdays which will be next Wed. for me, the big 3-6! Me and my sister's always go to the casino for dinner on each others bd's. Ecogirls is 2 days before mine so we are having a BBQ on Sunday night

WOW! She is quite a beautiful little girl! Great job! ;)

Thanks Beana! It will certainly be alot cooler for the summer since her hair is so thick! I alwasy though that since she has such a round face but slim body she would look better with it long. Much to my surprise it looks great short! We sent the hair off yesterday so she'll get a certificate.

Since we are on the hair subject I'll post of pic of my sister who I just did the BioIoninic permanent straightening on. she has very different hair than me, coarse, wiry, frizzy. I have the staight, silky hair

So Bella has a few friends sleeping over tonight for the Camp Rock premier, luckily the girls are her good, quiet friends! Cooper had 3 5-6 year olds over the other night and they were ALL great too! So it was a totally chill night for me. I did make tie dye pancakes in the moringing though, they came out cool!

So, Sunday night we are having a BBQ, small birthday party for me and Ecogirl. I let Bella pick the cake :cake: out and there are 2 magnetic flip-flops that come with it and she said I could have one and Ecogirl could have one, so sweet. So when we look at them on our fridges we can think of each other. Ecogirl is moving soon, pretty far away but nothing a good girlfriends weekend won't get in the way of :thumbsup2 . It's supposed to rain but we gots plenty a room inside! But I'll go with the old adage, if booze it there we'l be all set! Hopefull Ecogirl will let me post a pic of us together....:worship:

I am just SO looking forward to our time together in Disney!!!! We're gonna do the Epcot deal, I'll have a FP buddy so P and the kids can ramble on, then P can have a pool day at the AKL with the kids and a DD day as well. Me and Ecogirl will do AK and we'll try to brave Mount Everest :scared1: I think we can suck it up if we do it first and get it over with!!!!! I love KRR and now we are getting down to the wire (if we go by FDM!!!! :rotfl2: ) Dying to know what movies will be on the cruise, I imagine I'll be able to find out soon!

Well Camp Rock is just starting so I gotta calm these girlsdown!!!!
