Beaches & Cream - Parking at BC & YC

We will be staying at the Poly during our upcoming trip and were thinking of swinging by here for a fun dinner. We have our own car and are wondering if we will be permitted to park in the parking lot? I think I had read that there is a security guard at the YC & BC entrance and the only way that outside guests are allowed in is if their names are on an ADR list for one of the resorts resto's (but one can not make fan ADR for B & C). If anyone has any more specifics about parking for outside guests at the BC & YC that would be appreciated.

We have done this many times - just tell the guard you want get some ice cream at Beach and Cream and it isn't any problem...

You will probably be given a timed parking permit that will allow you to park there for a specific amount of time to enjoy your meal. You'll be fine with that.

You will be waived in with no problem at all. Especially if you have a parking pass from poly.

Park at the yc/bc eat lunch...then walk to epcot....have a wonderfull day.

FWIW, this is against Disney's written policy. If the guard tells you otherwise upon driving up to the gate, then so be it. However, it is against Disney's policy to park at a resort in order to gain access to the parks.

The part about being allowed to park at the resort to eat there IS correct, however, and not a problem.

Just another say about the previous post.
Yes, you may visit ANY resort you want. The security guard will ask your plans. But PLEASE, do not park at a resort to gain entrance to a park. There are just too many people at WDW who want to visit and eat at different resorts and to park in a resort lot all day would be UNJUST completely!!!!!
