What's the shortest route driving ourselves to get to Beaches and Cream from the Fort? Just thinking there's a Kitchen Sink with my name on it :cool1:

The shortest is over the lake and thru the trees. ;)

But, when you check in they will give you a WDW map, keep it with you at all times, I use it to navigate everywhere.

LOL! I've never made it to dessert there as I am too hooked on their burgers. Be advised last time I was their (which was awhile ago) they were taking reservations and it's a tiny restaurant. It's not cheap, but it is good.

If you are driving yourself it's real easy to get to. Just ask the front desk for directions to the Beachclub resort. If your taking the transportation and your planning on visiting Epcot just take the resort boat from the international gateway in Epcot or walk over from that park. You can take the resort boat from MGM or Hollywood studios (whatever they are calling it today) too. Otherwise, if your not visting the theme parks you'll need to transfer some where and it would definitly be quicker to drive if you can.

Know ya'll will have a great time!:cool1:
And when you do find your way over to get that Kitchen Sink,,tell'em to stick my name on one too,,,we'll get ours inna bout 56 or so days.

I've got one pegged for our 2009 trip with DH, we'll need him to bat clean uppopcorn::
My next trip will be just me and the kids and don't think we could put a dent in it.

I'd have no problem taking that route :thumbsup2 Last year at the end of the summer when I changed out the fluids and fliters there were dried up minnows in the bottom of my air cleaner tub. :woohoo:

When's the best time to go to Beaches and Cream if you do NOT have a reservation?

We'll be at the Fort in less than 2 weeks! It's our first time :)

We have always just walked up, the longest we waited was 15 minutes, the arcade is right next door.

I don't think they take ADR's. Anyone else know for certain.

If it were me, I would drive.... As you leave the Fort, turn left and go to the stop light. Turn right at the light and follow the signs to the Beach Club Resort.

If you turn right out of the Fort, you will have to circle the parking lot at MK.

We just did the Kitchensink at Beaches and Cream. Well actually we did 2 of them. :rotfl2: DH did the Kitchensink challenge. If one person can eat an entire kitchensink in less than one hour it is free. DH did it by himself in 36 minutes. The other 6 of us shared a second one and didn't finish it :lmao:

Have fun and good luck.

Oooo, I LOVE a challenge when it involves eating. I'm putting this on my list.

Here's a shot of the two we ordered.

WOW that's an accomplishment!

After seeing a picture of them, I'm thinking I have to take my boys over to the Beach Club to try it!

All I can say is... WOW!!!!!! I had no idea!! Thanks for posting the pics. I don't think I'll ever be ordering one of those, though. It would take me a month to finish it ( oh, ok. maybe only a week)! Your DH should be proud! Well done! :worship: (And those bowls are adorable, too!)

I had been wondering what they looked like. WOW!
