Hey, we have never done the DDP before and will be going in September this year with free dining!!! We were thinking about going to EPCOT on the night of our arrival and getting a CS meal, but then we starting thinking it might be fun to walk over to BC and have a burger at BandC. It is usually very crowded? Also, I assume we can use a CS credit for a burger, but can we get some ice cream for dessert? What is allowed? Can we get a shake for dessert?? TIA!

B&C is considered a table service restaurant. So no using a CS here.

You'll need to use a TS credit for every member of the party. Of course, you'll an appy, entre and desert for every credit.

IMHO, this is well worth the table service credit. In fact, DW and I think these may be the best burgers we've had....

Beaches and Cream is only a table service restaurant on the Dining Plan. There is no way to use a counter servise credit to eat here. I also believe that the only thing that you can get to go from there is ice cream, no burgers. I would just pay out of pocket if you wanted to get a burger and some ice cream here, unless you aren't really worried about getting the most for your credits- which a lot of people aren't, and since it's free dining what the heck you could just use a TS credit- I don't think that they have a wide selection of appetizers here though. The burger I had there was very good, as well as the chili dog- and the No way Jose sundae is the BEST!! HAve a good trip!

The burgers at Beaches & Cream are AWESOME!!! :thumbsup2 DBF and myself are debating going here again for our trip 11/30-12/7/07. Definitely use one of those TS and go here...you won't regret it! Hopefully you'll get to see someone order "The Kitchen Sink" sundae! :scared1:

Hate to be the lone dissenter, but I think B and C is one of the most over-rated places on the DIS! It is really, really small, they don't take ADR's, so be prepared to wait. And seriously, you can get a hamburger that is just at good at Sci-Fi (maybe even better). I really don't think it is worth the time or a TS credit IMHO. It reminds me of a greasy-spoon diner.

B & C has pretty good ice cream. We found the rest of the food to be passable, at best. I wish it was as good as a greasy-spoon diner.
If you go, I would suggest just paying out of pocket. It really isn't a very good value for using up a TS on the DDP.
IMHO

If you use ts credits, you get dessert....but what ice-cream dish can you order?

I know you can't get the kitchen sink, but can you get any of the other ice-cream dishes?

Looks fun in there. They dont take ADRs??

I believe the Kitchen Sink is the only dessert restriction there.

Nope, they do not take ADR's. If they are full, you get a pager. And if your party is more than 4 people, you would be better off waiting until a booth opens up. We tried to sit with 5 last year at a table (3 adults, 2 kids), and it was absolutely not enough room for the sandwich plates and drinks. I even think the tables might not be enough room for 4 people, depending on what everyone orders (i.e. number of plates the food comes served on).
