Beaches and Cream or Homecomin’

dilema on arrival night dinner—

Beaches and Cream or Homecomin’, which would you choose?

It will be a pay out of pocket meal. Would love to try both, but a Beaches and Cream reservation just popped up.

For out of pocket, Beaches and Cream. At least half the price, even with desert.

It depends on where you want to be on arrival night. I would take spending the evening in the Boardwalk area over being in DS any day of the week, so I would choose B&C!

We enjoyed B&C because we chose a treat supper of just ice cream! It was such fun and we'll do it again another time for sure!

I like Homecoming. With that said, I also think that where you want to be matters. If you are staying on the Boardwalk B&C is very convenient.

Beaches & Cream hands down. Tried Homecoming. wanted to love but here in Kansas City we have Strouds and by comparison their chicken came in last.

Considering you're paying out of pocket, I'd take the Beaches & Cream ressie. It'll be much cheaper than Homecomin. Plus, if you decide to do Homecomin later in your trip, it should be easier to get an ADR for it than B&C (since B&C is so small, tables fill up fast). However, while I think the desserts are great at B&C, the food was only so-so for me (basic diner food) and I thought Homecomin's food was better, but not to the point it would be worth the price out of pocket.

I decided on Beaches and Cream. I plan on really just relaxing on my arrival night and the thought of having a cheap but good meal, even though it is just burgers and fries, makes most sense.
I may try Homecomin' on departure day for lunch or an early dinner one night.
