Hi! I've tried for months to get a reservation for four to have dessert at Beaches and Cream (specifically the Kitchen Sink which I know they don't sell at their walk up window). I'm headed down next week and I wonder if it will be worth our while to just show up and wait? Do they typically allow walk ups? I don't mind waiting but don't want to not even have an option to wait as we will be going out of our way to get there. TIA!

They don't typically allow walk ups for a table, as they are booked to capacity. Sometimes they do for the counter, but it would be very hard to share the Kitchen Sink there.

Agree with hopefully. This is a very small place. As I remember it there about 3 booths and 6 or so tables. The rest is counter and about a dozen seats there. Very unlikely to get in as a walk up.

I would still try it. We went in April, not as crowded, and did a walk up. It was in the evening about 45 minutes before closing for just ice cream. It wouldn't hurt if you just want to check out the area.

Use Touring Plans reservation finder. It works & is free. You can get a free account by clicking "basic access" on the sign-up page. I just got a Beaches & Cream ressie using Touring Plans today!

If that doesn't get you a ressie, check the evening before. That's people's last chance to cancel without penalty, & a lot of people wait until the night before. Also check the morning of.

Keep your phone's volume turned up & with you, as the Reservation Finder sends you a text alert when it finds a ressie, but can't hold it for you, so someone else could get it if you don't respond quickly to the text. When you get the text, you'll get a link in it that will take you directly to the Beaches & Cream webpage to make the reservation.

No reservations available means the restaurant is fully booked; they don't hold any tables for walkups. I hope the Touring Plans reservation finder comes through for you, I've had success with it!

very small seating but we were able to get in at 230pm with just a 20 minute wait. Never hurts to swing by at offpeak times and ask if you cannot get res. Worst case you could still get something from take out window. Beaches never disappoints

If there are no reservations available, would they give a table to a walk up party and have a party with a reservation wait? That doesn't seem right. But if you can be flexible on when you can go, then TP or last day before may open up!

No. This is why nearly all the time the host/ess at any TS restaurant just says "no walk ups". They'd spend the entire day waiting.

We did a walk up last May for counter seating which was fine for our party of 5. It was actually kind of fun watching the servers make sundaes behind the counter! Sure we had to swivel to look at each other but it was fine!

I left them my number and they texted me when space opened up. Maybe waited 30 mins around 8pm.

I don't think they would make reservations wait at least not for more than 10-15 minutes. However there are times when party size changes. I might have booked for 4 and it ends up just being 2 and they seat us at the counter. A table just opened up for walkups. Reservations are also based on average dining time. Lets say they figure an hour but my party decides to skip actual food and go straight for ice cream. we might only take 30 minutes. So is Disney going to let my table sit empty for 30 minutes or would they squeeze a walk up in???? I think they squeeze a walk up in.
