Beaches and Cream Kitchen Sink

My son wanted a kitchen sink instead of a birthday cake. The only complaint we had was that it melted before we really finished it.

For my birthday in 2006,my mother,aunt and myself had the kitchen sink. We finished it. It was really good!

Beaches and Cream does not take adrs. The place is very tiny and waits of over an hour is not unheard of. They do have a take out window, but it does not include any of the signature sundaes or kitchen sink, nor does it serve food. It only has a few simple ice cream bars and drinks.

The kitchen sink was great. we finished it with 2 adults and 3 kids under 9. to get there go in the back entrance of the beach club, go left towards the restaraunt where they have the calm bake, then take another left down the hall. You will then take two rights and then a left. Follow that hallway around and the entrance to beaches and cream is actually outside.

We went during the middle of day to BnC and had no wait at all. The place is very tiny, it may have 20 tables a the most. Looks like an old time Soda Shoppe, they serve burgers, fries, sandwiches and of course ice cream.

We used the DDP and everyone got huge ice creams with our meals. We had talked about getting the kitchen sink but didn't.

You can mix and match to your hearts content.

We did that also, we had it for a late lunch.

That first picture made it look HUGE, but in eliza61's picture, it doesn't look that big. Eliza, is your son a giant, or is that a better representation of the size?

Anyway: I want one. Now.

We shared a kitchen sink a few years ago with another family that vacations with us. At the time we didn't know you could "customize" it. Now it is part of our trip everytime. They do a little show when it is served and all of our kids LOVED it. We are going again in May and have already planned the trip around going to Beaches and Cream!

As for the "YUCK" comments, the pictures do not do it justice. If you ever get the chance you must try one. It is time and money well spent.

DD and I had burgers at Beaches & Cream in February. We saw several tables being served with the Kitchen Sink (you can't miss the announcement). It just looked gross to us - all those flavors mixed in together have no appeal for me.

But we had a regular sundae for dessert and it was awesome.

The Kitchen sink is good for about 3 mins, once everything starts getting soupy and some of the toppings( like the poundcake) get wet and mushy , it is nasty.
