Beach towels...

going on our first cruise is 2 wks.... Should we pack beach towels or does the ship provide them? Just asking as they take up a lot of room in the suitcase. Thanks!

The ship provides towels at the pool as well as when you disembark on Castaway Cay

Do not bring your beach towels. You won't need them.

But, the DCL ones they sell onboard make a great souvenir!! I ALWAYS buy one each cruise (usually the year dated ones) as a memento of the cruise. I use them all the time at home for bath towels. I like a full sized towel at the beach and pool and the ones onboard are not full sized, more like bath sized.

Adding on to the PP, they also have towels available to take off the ship for most ports. They had large carts of towels as you disembarked, for all our port days on the western and eastern Caribbean stops.

Just to add, even though the towels offered are not full beach towel size, you may take a couple per person. They don't care how many you take for your needs. I always need one for my body & one for my head.

OMG! From your other posts it sounds like you've got quite a stockpile of those towels.
