Help us choose. We are planning our vacation for next may and my wife and I are debating on where to stay. Can anyone give us any good advise. We will be traveling with our four year old son and two year old daughter.

The BWV are great for adults and Luna Park themed pool area is great for families. We prefer the BWV over any other resort. However, with 2 young ones, I would say BCV because Stormalong Bay is awesome for families and the Boardwalk is still just a short walk away.

BWV have very long corridors. BCV has shorter corridors. Both are nearly identical in the room configuration. BCV has parking that is fairly close to the resort. BWV has parking that is rather far, unless you use valet parking. BCV also has valet parking, but the self parking is much closer. BCV is newer (only about one year old). You have access to Stormalong Bay, the resort pool at YC/BC/BCV when you stay at BCV. You have access to Luna Park when you stay at BWV. There is a real nice character breakfast at the BC (Cape May breakfast with Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale). There aren't any character breakfasts at the BW. You can walk to Epcot or Disney Studios from either, but BCV is very close to Epcot. Some rooms at the BCV have a view of the Epcot fireworks. Some of the rooms at BWV have a view of Epcot or Disney Studios fireworks.

Personally, we like BCV better and own there as DVC members.

We too own at BCV and have never stayed at BWV but much prefer the BCV area. To us it has a peaceful atmosphere which we enjoy. The Boardwalk area is bustling which is not our cup of tea. Others love BWV for that very reason.

The parking and shorter hallways are another big plus about BCV for us. We probably would have joined DVC sooner if it had been on the market earlier.

Unless you are an owner, the resorts are very similar. The short story is that BCV has a better pool, and BWV has a better location.

Why the better location? BWV is only slightly farther from Epcot than BCV, but it's a lot closer to MGM than BCV.

I am a DVC member(OKW) and have stayed at both resorts. SAB at the BC is an outstanding pool. I would have to recommend BCV for that reason alone. I do have one concern BWV and BCV are DVC properties, BWV is sold out and BCV is expected to be sold out by 8/1/03 therefore there will be limited availablity. I would make my ressies asap to insure that you get the resort you want. Have a great trip.
