I put in a request for a refurbished room If that helps at all! I asked for a room in a section that was already refurbished and would minimize noise.

We did the same thing and I actually got a reply saying they understood and would try and honor the request, well see...smjj

If I understand your question, you can make a request as soon as you book. We almost always make them and most times they are granted but they always tell you a request is not a guarantee...smjj

We always ask for woods view closer to lobby (for a shorter walk). I find the pool view to be a bit noisy during our afternoon break times. Once when I asked for EPCOT view I was admonished about there being no EPCOT view, only woods, courtyard, and pool views.

I'm glad to see this-I think this is the first time the woods view's been recommended (unless I missed it). I like the woods view, on the inside of the "U", especially if I'm facing the tip of the eiffel tower. I love sitting on my porch watching that as well as seeing the morning birds and hawks. On one trip there was a hawk that was sitting in a particular spot every morning and I loved it (can you tell I'm a bird watcher?)
