Beach Club Question

Okay all you Beach Club lovers I have a question...We recently stayed at WL and loved the promptness of the bus and how uncrowded the bus was anytime we rode it. Now the question about Beach Club.

Periodically we would notice a bus being picked up for Yacht and Beach Club and it would say Yacht and Beach Club, BoardWalk, Swan and Dolphin. I understand that the Yacht and Beach Club probably share a bus all the time. But do ALL these resorts ALWAYS share buses everywhere? That kind of worries me. Can someone give me some information on how the buses work in and out of here?

Our daughter is really pushing for Beach Club next springbreak but I am very content to do WL again. DH is really on the fence. Now I will say that pool at Beach Club looks incredible so I am not opposed to Beach Club but I really don't want to go if the buses are a nightmare.

TIA!

We stayed at YC last October, I think there was only a couple of occasions when the buses were at standing room capacity. From the YC we called at the BC (there were always more people there to pick up than YC) then as far as I can remember we went straight to the parks. On the way back calling at Swan and Dolphin, YC then presumably BC. You can always catch and get off at YC and walk around SAB back to BC its hardly any distance at all and very pretty.

I second the previous poster. Buses to the parks (especially during busy times) usually stop at only YC/BC. During our recent trip staying at YC, at the MK, there was one bus loading area for YC/BC and another for BW/S/D. Not sure how it is set up at AK, as I always drive there.

That being said, the real advantage of BC (and all Epcot resorts) is that you only need to take buses to two of the parks. For both Epcot and DHS, you can walk or take a boat. So the number of bus stops is not even an issue for those two parks.

Downtown Disney, Animal Kingdom, and I believe both water parks incorporate a single bus for all five hotels, while Magic Kingdom is a single bus for Beach and Yacht Club.

In the case of the former, the Swan is the first drop off, and you can get off there if you wish and walk to the hotel (I did this in each instance to the Yacht Club). In the case of the latter, the Yacht Club is the first to get on as well as off.

The posters above have answered your questions, but I just wanted to add our experiences. Our favorite resort is Beach Club and it's very hard for us to stay anywhere else. We rarely take a bus to the parks. We love Hollywood Studios and Epcot, and we walk/boat to those parks. We also plan our MK days when we're already inside Epcot, so we just hop on the monorail over to MK. We don't enjoy taking buses because we have a double jogger, so we are able to relax by finding ways to walk/boat/monorail to parks.

We were there in Sept, (supposedly not a busy time) and LOVED the BC. We did get frustrated a couple of times with all the bus stops. Once we were coming back from either the MK or AK (I can't remember which), there was one other family on the bus with us. The bus stopped at every resort and nobody got on or off. It was either laugh or get angry. We decided to laugh.
I understand that the busses are on a schedule and have to make these stops, but at the end of the day when you are tired and sweaty with worn-out kids it can get frustrating.
We would still stay at the BC in a heartbeat. We love the pool and location. It is our favorite resort so far - by a landslide.

I think it may depend on how busy the resorts are. I've been on buses that went to all five resorts, and then I've been on some that just did YC/BC. But the two stop runs were during busy season and at busy times. The five stop runs were during slower seasons and mid-day. Especially with the new bus dispatch system they are implementing, there could be different scenarios at different times.
