Beach Club pool closure

I know the refurb is scheduled for January-May 2025. Does this mean May 1 or anytime in May?

We would like to rent points to stay there around May 14-22 or so in 2025 but not if the pool will be closed. With the cancellation policy on renting points I may be cutting it too close.

I haven't seen any information that provides an exact date. So they are likely saying "May" as a way to give them some leeway in completing the work. I mean, you're talking about refurb work about nineteen months from now! That's a long time. The plans could easily change between now and then. So if pool access is a must, I would either hold off on booking or book somewhere else

Yea I know it’s far out but was just wondering. I know so many things can change but I would like to book at exactly the 11 month mark. I will just watch closely at any information that may come out and decide in June.

I would recommend finding a pool that is closed for early 2024 and watch the forums for info about when that pool actually closes and opens. My memory says Disney just puts the months whenever a multi-month refurbishment is planned. I find it unlikely they actually close a pool on January 1st (due to holidays and workers typically taking vacation around then too). So for example, I wouldn't be surprised if the pool closes a week into January.
