Beach Club - Hungry for Info

Sorry, guys. I should have put both links in the same post, but I have them in separate posts. Go back and look at the link in post #4. It's a slide show that has pictures of standard rooms in the Beach Club Hotel, which I think is what you're looking for. Enjoy! :)

Thanks again, travelbug! :) I did see the pictures from AllEars. I did not find those impressive and I bet they really don't do a lot of justice to the Beach Club. ;)

If I understand correctly, there are no busses to Disney Studios or EPCOT, correct? You either take the super-slow boat or you walk?

correct. the boat isn't too bad really...we did the walk mostly to mgm it is about 15 minutes away. it is a very nice walk right behind the bwi and next to the lake. the walk to epcot is under 5 minutes however...a real plus.

We will be staying at the BC 12/20 to 12/28 this year, cant wait! Can anybody tell me if all the standard rooms have a day bed in? My TA assres me that they do but I cant seem to find a referance to them!!!

Thanks

Julie

When we stayed there in June 2005, we had one in our room. I'll be interested to hear about your Christmas trip. We are thinking about going in 3 years --2010 for Christmas. Since we love the BC so much we may want to stay there again and I'd love to hear about you experience.:goodvibes

There is NO bus to Epcot.... so you can only get through at the international gateway....

how will we get in for our Askerhaus Breakfast??? will it be possible??

When we were there 2 years ago, we went in thru the International Gateway which was open eventho- WS had yet to open.

Will be sure to let you know!

I am so excited now. At first I thought I made a mistake and I was going to switch back to WL. My mind is now set and I am happy to be staying at the BC.

This will be on the Travel Channel: Thought I would share. We changed our reservations from POR to BC during Thanksgiving. I was able to apply the code and even though we are paying a little more I think it will be well worth it!!!:cool1:

Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts - FL
TV-G, CC

Nestled on a lake within eyeshot of EPCOT at Walt Disney World, these fantasy-themed resorts turn back the clock to the turn-of-the-century summer homes of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Samantha enjoys the super-sized pool and a Kitchen Sink sundae.

You can enter via the International Gateway... they should allow you through, just as they would at the front gate. If you have any questions/doubts, be sure to ask at either the Concierge/Guest Services desk, or if he's around, ask Art, the Greeter at the Beach Club (or as my wife & I think of him, the Grand Admiral of the Beach Club). There's nearly NOTHING he doesn't know.

Enjoy the Magic!
