Beach Club Deluxe Rooms, Suites, VP and Presidential Rooms

Hi Everyone
Here is a video I finally found that my husband created from our trip last July 4th week. We stayed in room 4691 which was a corner room and we LOVED LOVED LOVED it.
We were on the 4th floor so you had to take the elevator up one level to the Club Lounge but it was worth it to us.
Please bear with the video its a few minutes until you get to the room tour part.
I hope you all enjoy it.
Diane :)

Awesome video!:woohoo:

We booked a Deluxe room at BC and did online check-in. Our room was not ready when we arrived but when we did get our room we had been upgraded to the Presidential Suite! So I guess you can still get pixie dust even when you do online check-in.

Congrats on your upgrade! I would have felt like a celebrity in the suite. That looks amazing! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the video, Diane! It was very helpful and...entertaining. I especially liked the part where your daughter is talking about how she vowed she would never! make the drive again to FL, and yet, "here I am, in North Carolina!" LOL. And good choice on the music!

Did she fly home? :lmao:

We are staying in a Deluxe room in December (hope we can swim!) so this was super helpful! I loved how the video started at Gillette stadium. If we ever drive from Texas, I will start our video from the Superdome. Geaux Saints! :cheer2:

Thanks again! Loved it! So funny!

Thank you CaliTex
I am so glad you enjoyed it I was wondering if anyone would ever see it :rotfl2:
My daughter did not fly back and she has since taking a few more trips. So the cranky teenager does grow out of that stage. Thank goodness. You will LOVE Deluxe feel free to ask away if you have any questions.

Thanks for posting this terrific video. We are staying in a deluxe room in March and I'm so happy to have a chance to see what they are like. So excited to be at the Beach Club!

Does anyone have a recommendation on what is the best room # of the 2 bedroom suites?

Hi do the one bed suites come with full balconies and which floor would be best to request thank you

Hi there! I thought I'd add our pictures from our stay in 4691 just two weeks ago, especially since we had a refurbed room and I think all of the pictures on this thread are pre-refurb. :)

This is a deluxe room on the 4th floor, located near the main entrance from the Crescent Lake side. If you were to look up and to the left as you enter in through the doors, the room is located right along the corner of the building, on the 4th floor. It has two standing Juliet balconies--one that overlooks the entrance, and the other that overlooks SAB. That's the only downside to the room, IMO, especially because the same deluxe room below us had a HUGE balcony, and was my main request when we made the reservation, did online check in, and contacted the IPO. Oh well--we dealt with it. :) Otherwise, the room was great, in beautiful condition, and our family of 5 was thrilled to have a little extra room to spread out and enjoy.

I am having trouble finding it on this thread, but does anyone have current images and layout information for the BC club level 1BR suite? Does it really only sleep 3, instead of the 4 that a standard room would accommodate? I'm hoping the images I found were old and incorrect.

That's a great question. I don't know the answer to this since the room renovation- I know the occupancy was only 3 prior to the refurbishment.

The Disney website lists up to 4 guests, but I wouldn't necessarily take this as gospel, because the listing on other room types and descriptions of views is not correct.

I'll post this over on FAQ thread to see if anyone knows.

According to a disney rep, there is a queen size sleeper sofa and it sleeps 4. But I don't trust that info. Every other source I can find says the 1 BR suites only sleep 3 (which is very odd considering a standard room sleeps at least 4 . . .)

I was just told by someone I trust that the daybeds in the 1BR Suites were replaced with sleeper sofas, so they do indeed sleep 4 people now.

:thumbsup2

With regards to the 1 bedroom suites, I was told that most rooms have a king bed, queen sleeper sofa and the day bed. Description and pics are available on this page:
http://www.glassslipperconcierge.com/blog/detail/disneys-beach-club-resort-guest-rooms-new-look

We have five staying in a 1 bedroom suite (3 adults and 2 toddlers, 2.5 years old) and were assured there is plenty of room. If we don't have the daybed in our room, they will bring in a rollaway since we are within occupancy limits with the kids being so young. We may use cribs, so not really an issue.

Thank you - it seems most of the info out there is out of date so I really appreciate the confirmation that we will have enough room! I wonder (hope) that they made the room bigger in the refurb. The glassslipper website says the rooms are significantly larger than Disney told me. I think Disney said about 540 or 570. Its disappointing how little info disney has about this class of rooms in particular. I tried to get a layout llike they have for other room and was told they didn't have one

I don't think they made the room bigger but I think they just made better use of the space. Instead of the pullout sofa in the bedroom, there used to be two chairs and a table. I've heard conflicting reports about whether the queen pullout is in the bedroom or parlor room. On glass slipper, it looks like the pullout sofa is in the bedroom and the daybed in the parlor. On the Disney website, it is the opposite with the daybed in the bedroom and the pullout in the parlor. It's probably a function of each particular room and size. Either way, the room should be very functional. We are excited!
