In reviewing rooom charges, beach club charged $6 delivery fee for garden grocer order

Did bell services bring the order to your room?

All resorts have that fee. It has been in place many years.

Yes. I called the front desk and they stated if bell services delivers they charge the fee. Cast member stated bell services should have made me aware of the charge, she would request a credit. Thank you cast member !

So tired of corporate Disney nickel & dimeing the guests, paid fast passes, no more “complimentary “ magical express soon they will figure how to charge you for the air you breathe. The sad thing is I am a very generous tipper, now I may have to rethink that. I will probably still tip generously. It’s not the front line staff. So sick of corporate Disney and all the fees, fee for this, fee for that, and pay over the top prices for everything at Disney, while losing value & quality. Sorry for the rant.

Not sure why, but at Kidani & I have never have been charged the delivery fee. Can’t explain why, but happy I was not charged. Apparently it is not consistent, not a surprise as I have noticed very many inconsistencies with policies & procedures

Honestly, i always thought BC and YC were the only ones charging due to them being a convention location.

The convention hotels have been charging a delivery fee for a while now. It's only been recently that other hotels have been charging the fee to delivery groceries to your room.

There are different rules regarding getting charged if something goes to a Disney hotel.

FROM THE DISNEY MAIL PAGE:

"Please note that a $6 per package handling fee will apply to all packages that are received through the Front Desk or are delivered to your Disney Resort hotel room."

Getting Grocery Orders Delivered to Your Disney Resort Hotel Room​

Grocery deliveries are subject to the Disney Resort hotel’s policies and may be unavailable, limited or restricted. If the delivery service vendor requires age or ID verification, Guests are required to meet and accept delivery directly from the vendor; Disney Resort hotels will not accept delivery of such orders on behalf of any Guest.
For other grocery orders delivered to the Disney Resort hotel during your vacation, a $6 fee will be charged to your room account for each grocery delivery order brought to your room by Bell Services or Luggage Assistance. Alternatively, these deliveries may be picked up in the Resort Lobby from Bell Services or Luggage Assistance at no charge.

Handling fee includes receipt of item from carrier, storage for up to 3 days, onetime Guest package delivery or pickup, placing item with carrier for shipment, and tracking. Postage is not included.
