I'm so excited We'll be checking in next Monday morning. Haven't been to WDW since June 2010 and I've really missed it. Planning on only going to the Magic Kingdom on a MNSSHP night and may regret that, but DH wants to spend more time at Epcot due to F&W.

Seems like I remember a possibility of going to the lounge at the top of BLT is available to all DVC members. We are staying at BCV and VAKL, not BLT. Can anyone give me the details on this. Is it only one night a week, or any night?

Are there any soft openings for any of the new fantasy land areas? Not sure if it's close enough to opening for that yet, but thought it couldn't hurt to ask.

We will be going to pick up DD from the airport one night. How long should we allow to get there from VAKL?

You can go any night. You will need your room key and blue DVC Member ID card. Just head to the DVC desk in the BLT lobby and they will take your info and give you access to the TOTW lounge.

Enchanted Tales with Belle has been having soft openings lately. Also, Storybook Circus is open so you will have access to Dumbo, The Great Goofini and the new train station.

It is about 30 minutes each way, plus the time you will need to wait for her. Why not have her take Magical Express and meet you at the resort? It is a very easy process.

Oh yeah - one more question. While we're at BCV - I know Hurricane Hannah's is closed, but does that mean no wait staff walking around taking orders for a poolside beverage?

We check in next Friday and I can't wait, either. It has been 2 years since we were last there. I do know that TOWL is open to all DVC members with proof of membership(so bring your DVC card).

We are doing a split stay between BLT and BCV and I too was wondering about alternatives to Hurricane Hanna's. Does this mean we need to walk thru BCV to marketplace to get something to eat. There also is no place to sit down inside. I was bummed when I saw that they were closed b/c it is nice to sit out and have lunch. Anyone have any info?

I read that there will be a "hot dog stand" and makeshift pool bar while HH is under renovation. No worries!

Regarding the TOWL PP already commented that you need your KTTW Card and DVC membership card. Also note you must use Disney transportation since you will not be allowed to park at BLT. You could drive to the ticket and transportation center and then take the monorail over.

Got an email from DVC today telling us we could attend an event at AKL since we were staying there part of our stay - I think it was called Sunset Mingle. Anyone done that before? Is it worth planning around it?
