Be Our Guest . . . The "Grey Stuff" . . . only offered at dinner?

In previewing the menu for our QS lunch I was SO sad to find that The "Grey Stuff" isn't on the lunch dessert menu, only on the dinner TS menu.

I do see that they offer

"The Master's Cupcake - Chocolate Sponge Cake topped with Lumiere’s special “Grey Stuff”

However, we were hoping for the The "Grey Stuff" . . . Chocolate Shell, Cookie Crème topped with Lumiere’s special “Grey Stuff”

By chance does anyone know if it is able to be ordered at lunch anyway?

The grey stuff cupcake actually gives you more of the grey stuff than the dinner dessert. It's just all around bigger. I don't think you can order the dinner dessert for lunch but it never hurts to ask and try! You could potentially just ask for a portion of the grey stuff itself without the cupcake, though.

We've asked and been told no at lunch time. Always a chance someone could give you pixie dust and let you order one (or bring you one for free if you asked while in the dining room) but it's not on the menu and we were told not available. I like the dinner one better as well since I'm not a cupcake (particularly chocolate) fan but the dinner one is more like a brownie. So I'd say worth asking but don't count on it.

Ok, thanks guys. I have achalasia and cannot eat 99% of solid foods, so I was hoping to have a larger portion of the "grey stuff" of it as it will go down with lost of water even though my esophagus doesn't move.

I suppose you are right and it won't hurt to ask.
