This was the only reservation we had at Disney where I was dissatisfied. Thank goodress we ordered ahead because the line was long otherwise! Once we got in, the two out of the three rooms were totally packed. Finally found a family leaving a table in the library and we grabbed it. Then a woman came to clean the table and scolded us for sitting down before the table had been cleaned. No one told us this was not allowed and I responded that we just wanted a table. My quiche was practically inedible (and I'm not picky). Dd's grilled cheese was really dry. It was loud and chaotic and I could not find the floating rose. I think Disney needs to rethink this system and do sit down for lunch.

We've done BOG a couple times for lunch and a couple times for breakfast. I agree that it's noisy and chaotic with trying to find seats at lunchtime. We did find the breakfast less so but we also got there when they opened at 8 so that probably helped. The food is decent, but not outstanding so I think we'd only repeat breakfast for the advantage of entering the park early and more than likely won't do lunch again.

We also did not like BOG for lunch, but love it for dinner. It a whole different and better experience all around. We will definitely return for dinner, but wouldn't bother with lunch. The food was not great, and I think the hype for lunch made our expectations really high. We had high expectations for dinner also, and it was nothing short of awesome. Lunch definitely felt more chaotic.

For us lunch is the best value but breakfast is much less chaotic.

The reason they don't want you to sit at a dirty table is because now that you have stopped moving, the kitchen is alerted by your MB or rose and the food is loaded to be delivered. We have seen it several times, guests standing at a dirty table and here comes their food on the cart.

If you must hold a table, have whoever scanned their MB or has the rose to keep moving around the room until the table is clean. o_O

Thanks for the tip!

This happened to us last trip. We stalked rooms for table and had to grab one that hadn't been cleared yet. I just had my family sit and I found a person who was clearing/cleaning tables and nicely asked for help. It is pretty crowded and hectic during lunch.

It is what it is, a busy restaurant in a theme park.
We've always found the food to be of a higher standard then elsewhere in the MK but fine dining it is not.
We prefer the ball room as it is beautifully themed, the West Wing is very dark & the other room just doesn't work for us.
I understand why people want to eat there & the experience is unique but I really thought that the hype would have died down a bit by now.

We've only done breakfast, but we were not fans. It wasn't crowded or chaotic (too early, I guess!), but the food was our least favorite meal of the entire seven day trip. As a PP noted, I'd do it again just for the early park entry and 7DMT advantage, but definitely not for the food! I'd be hesitant to try lunch or dinner based on our experience at breakfast.

After a couple of lunches at BOG, we decided that we'd stick with dinner there. It just seems so much like a quick service, with having to line up, and find your own seats, that it's not worth it. We prefer table service meals since it's a nice break from the park. Although they do bring your food to your table, it's too chaotic and not worth the price. I had booked a breakfast for our upcoming trip, but we all decided to cancel it since the experience was too busy.

Now, if they change it to a real table service breakfast or lunch, as they have it with dinner, we would definitely eat there.

We had a fantastic experience for lunch. It was a little hectic, but I think any quick service meal in the park is the same. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. We'll be doing another lunch on our trip later this week.

While a bit crazy, and a bit of a line, we enjoyed our lunch experience and our going back. Its the best value and I enjoy the food.

We weren't keen either-however dmil wants to go back!

We are going for an 820am breakfast & a 1230pm lunch...

Hoping we don't have any crazy chaotic lines/dirty tables / unpleasant food.

Maybe we've been lucky but so far we've had no issues finding a table at lunch. If anything I am usually surprised at how many tables are still open. The food so far was okay but we like that the options are different. But I just tried the Roast Beef sandwich this past week and thought it was delicious! It's definitely our go-to QS option, but it still doesn't compare to dinner. Dinner is really good and service has been outstanding.

We had lunch and enjoyed the food. It was better than other quick service places. However, it was kind of a mess. We needed two checks so couldn't pre order, and the line was quite long. It was also hard to find a table. We'll probably go back because we really enjoyed the pork, but it wasn't nearly as smooth as I thought it'd be.

Our Lunch experience was great. I made a reservation and ordered ahead. It took about 10 minutes from our check in until we paid. We also found a large table immediately. My mom is super picky about food and complained everywhere but here (granted we had children and a short trip so we weren't doing signature restaurants or leaving the parks). We found it all to be delicious and on the less processed side.

I'm planning for it to be our only planned meal of our next trip.

I agree lunch has its issues. I think if you don't pre order it will seriously hurt your experience. I did not like the "Just go find an empty table" when that's very hard to do, I think it took around 10 min for us to find and sit at a table. It then took another 10-15 min to get our food but seeing how busy the restaurant was I understood why it wasn't quick. I did not like the themed fountain machines because with no color it was so hard to see which soda was in each slot. The actual food was above average for me, we had the roast beef sandwich and the turkey sandwich and both were filling. We ate in the west wing which was the best room in terms of theming and noise level.

I'm sure I would have enjoyed dinner better and next time that's probably what I'll try to do.

Something like that happened to me there once at lunch. I can't remember the details but I remember I got reprimanded for something LOL.

I still like it though, it's quick and it's nice they bring your food to you unlike other QS.

Our lunch experience has been so great,we have eaten lunch there 4 times and in April it will be our 5th. We have always found a table and our food has been hot, flavorful, and really enjoyable. It is a must for us. We have done dinner 1x and really liked that as well. The chef was awesome at dinner with my DD peanut allergy. We are going to do breakfast in August at 0800 for prepark admission.

We loved breakfast (8am ADR) and really enjoyed lunch (11am ADR), but it's our style of food. It's the only pre-park ADR that's worth loosing sleep for next trip.
