Be Our Guest Lunch FastPass Thread [PLEASE read the FAQs in the first post!]

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness! Got my reservation for New Years Eve! Thank you everyone here! I'm so excited!

Got a question: my GF eats like a mouse (sorry Mickey!), so a kids meal would probably be enough for her (I don't know what she's going to do with a Candlelight Professional meal). She wants the mahi-mahi and finger salad, but she wants no dressing on the salad; she actually hates all salad dressing and prefers her salads plain. I can't modify that on the reservations page, but can we ask for that when we get to the restaurant?

I have a BOG lunch FP for Dec 22 for a 145-215 arrival but I'm trying to change the time. It doesn't matter how many times I refresh the page it keeps giving me only the 145-215 time slot over & over. Does this mean that's the only time left? I don't want to chance cancelling what I have & lose my FP all together.

Probably, yes. If there were other times they'd appear when you refresh the browser window. If the new offered time seems better for you, select it, otherwise leave the current booking in place.

New question - my BOG FP isn't linking to MDE. Are they supposed to be separate? Do we need the magic bands to get in? It's not making sense to me.

No, this is completely separate from the rides and attractions FastPass+ system, and nothing will show in the My Disney Experience website or app. It does not count against your three FP+ per day allocation either. It links directly with your hotel booking reference number.
 
Made our ressie for New Years Eve too but now worried about park closure, we were just going in for lunch. Staying at Bay Lake Tower.. any thoughts about closures ??

I've been to MK in the past on New Year's Eve and the park filled to capacity and closed by 9 AM. It's great you got reservations there though! I remember that people without reservations were having a very difficult time getting into restaurants.
 
We just snagged Christmas Eve. 110-140pm. I think we'll check-in closer to the 130ish range because we have a Crystal Palace reservation at 945.


Is there any way to get a time closer to 2?

Wow! Wow! WOW!! We are at MK on the 26th December. I've been going online for BOG since I heard about it with instructions from my travel agent how to get FP....which is every day since October 20th. Still NO LUCK!:sad2:

The thread seems to suggest checking as of 21 days before arrival. Done that. No go.:sad:

Thread also suggests to go online at 2 am? Does this seem to be most successful tip? :scratchin

Guess there'll be some long nights leading up to our first ever trip to Disney. Fingers and toes crossed.
 
I fully intend to show up for the BOG fastpass and meal selection that I have made. However, if something goes wrong and we do not make it, will they automatically charge me for the quick service credits I used to preorder the food?

Also, is it relatively easy to get a fastpass only 7 days out on arrival day with at least a few times available? We originally wanted one on January 7 but since it was 8 days out, we booked it for January 1.

Please read the FAQ in the first post. Availability tends to open up 27 days before your meal date, and the system rolls over to add the new inventory at around 2am. However this is dependent on your hotel reservation being correctly linked into the BoG booking system in the first place (only the first seven days of your hotel stay will be valid for making BoG Lunch bookings). Do you see the dates listed, but it says no availability when you select them?

No, there is no cancellation penalty.

Also for Jan 7 you might be lucky in getting a slot one week beforehand, but there are no guarantees of course.

Has anyone had the problem that you get the message "session has expired. please try again" after you select the date. This has been happening to me all morning. Everything goes fine until I select the date I want and click next. Then I get the message. It doesn't matter how fast I go, I always get the same message. I am not sure what is going on and wondered whether anyone else has had this problem.

Hi Andre,

I did read the FAQ. Thot I typed 27 but I guess I didn't. Regardless, I've been checking pretty much every day since our 60th day when I made our Fastpass bookings for rides etc. We are now 17 days till arrival at Disney (22Dec) and we visit MK on the 26th Dec. My MDE has always shown the correct dates of our stay, as we never changed our dates. I don't even care when we eat on the 26th at MK. I just want a chance to eat at BOG. LOL!! So, will keep checking...tho' these aging eyes are startin' to droop off to sleep....2 a.m. ...are you here yet?? :eek: Thanks for sharing tips.
 
Hello I am not sure about December 26th seems like that may have already passed but I hope not for you! Good Luck! I was able to get January 1st. today instead of the 31st of December I was to worried about the park closing to capacity before we got in. :)

If the BoG site is correctly listing the first seven dates of your hotel stay, and you are now within the 27 day window, and it still shows No Availability when you click on a specific date, then I'm not sure what to suggest. It does seem as though it's saying there really are no slots left.

I have read the FAQs....but still am confused. When I went to the site this morning, I could get in with my email and password. I didn't need the long number beginning with 43. I wasn't able to book, but my 28 days doesn't start until tomorrow. (Just practicing today) Am I
correct in assuming that I could be successful using my email & password to get into the BOG fastpass site? Thank you!
 
I hope someone can help me with this!

So we arrive on January 5th. That means we haven't yet hit our "27 day" mark to book BOG FP. However, today I logged into the system just to kind of see how it worked and I noticed it was showing Jan 5-Jan 11. So I clicked the day I wanted and then on the page where you click "expedited arrival" or "direct to table" it is showing "no fastpasses available. please select a different day".

Does this mean all the lunch FP+ are gone? Or does it just mean I haven't hit my 27 day mark and can't make them yet?

Thanks for any help! (Sorry if this has already been answered! I tried searching but it was difficult to search exactly what I was looking for)
 
You can schedule you FP 27 days from the day you want to eat there. Not 27 days from your arrival. It will show up as nothing available until that day.
