Be Our Guest Lunch FastPass Thread [PLEASE read the FAQs in the first post!]

FYI we were there two weeks ago and all three days we were at MK dinner ressies opened up for four at Bog. Don't lose hope
 
I'm okay with planning but don't break the rules and then send me that darn email link I can't use. Or at least make someone available when you call that could help you with a situation and have some type of answer.

BOG will not make or break our short trip, as we've eaten there probably a dozen times over the last two years. We actually prefer lunch to dinner though, so we had penciled it in for the last day of our long weekend (11/3). For those of you who haven't had a chance to experience it, I really feel for you - I really do like the design and detail of it.

But honestly, the stupid email is what really ticked me off! I got the first one the other day inviting me to the test, but we check in on 10/31 for a night - I figured I got it because FP+ WAS available for that one day. But then we change our reservations for 11/1-11/3, and I got ANOTHER test invite today for that period and, of course, can't access it.

If you're going to change the rules, fine. It's not my favorite plan, but at least make it consistent with other ADRs - don't invite me to the test if I can't use it!
 
I just called to make a dinner reservation for 4 at Be Our Guest on Thursday, April 9. The first opening was for 820pm!! They said I can call and see if any earlier times open up, what are the chances this will happen? And as far as I know today was the first day I was able to book, is it normal for it to be so booked up already??

It's not odd for it to be booked up 180+10 days prior to your trip. You are lucky you got a spot. More spots come open 4-2 weeks out as there will be cancellations. Congrats and good luck!
 
I never thought I'd say this, but, the next 4k I drop in Orlando will not be in WDW. I think it's time to give the other park a try. Like I said in my previous post- This was the last straw. That's exactly how I feel. I stay on site so I can have the perks and I haven't been able to get anything I wanted even though I booked the first day I could. I am so aggravated with everything I am not even excited about my trip after spending all this money. I even through about canceling.

It's really sad. Planning a vacation should be fun. We have an offsite timeshare that we always piggyback to an onsite stay.. I feel forced to stick with plans that we make 180+ days out then find it impossible to coordinate fast passes easily. The last two years I found it much easier to make plans even when I booked one of our trips only four months before.

I just had to cancel our November vacation due to my DH having to have unexpected surgery in two and a half weeks. He will be out of work for about 2 months afterwards. I would have very disappointed if we weren't able to make a lunch reservation for BOG as we were looking forward to booking this during our Anniversary trip. I feel bad for all of you who are waiting to see what Disney is doing about the BOG lunch process. Hopefully this will be resolved before our May 2015 family trip. I keep checking this thread hoping that someone will have some success!
 
i'm very curious here. has anyone received the email who's stay STARTS after november 1st? i know i haven't received one and i'm within the period. i'm wondering if october 31st may be the cut off.

anyone????
 
I have a split stay. My second stay starts on November 1st, and yes I got the email. Three times as matter of fact.
 
Mine starts November 5th and I have NOT gotten the email. I am frustrated enough not to be able to make a FP for lunch, but to get the email saying I could but NOT being able to.....well that would make me :furious:
 
I received the "bonjour" email invite but when I go to the site it shows nothing available.

I have been trying to make fast pass reservations for Be Our Guest for lunch since Midnight on Friday, Oct 10th. They only give you a 1 week window to book. I want them for Thursday - Oct 16th. I have booked a fast pass back in July with no problem - It asked for a hotel reservation # - and then everything else came up including times to eat. Right now, it doesn't ask for a hotel reservation # - it lists everyone in my family - then when you go to the date, it says there are no fast passes available, please choose another date. Now I was on at Midnight - you can't tell me everything was gone in 1 minute! I tried again later in the day - still the same... so I called and was transferred to the website people, but they have nothing to do with the Be Our Guest site. All they kept telling me was to keep trying....I told them the site is not working - & she said they can't even tell someone about it. I've been trying now every few hours, and still no luck.
Does anyone have any information on what's going on? I know on the 9th they announced that everyone needs a fast pass for lunch - did that have something to do with it? Any help would be appreciated. :tinker

Fastpasses for October dates were available 27 days before your dining date. I booked mine for Oct 22 on Sept 25 (the 24th at 11pm central in my case). I imagine October dates have been gone awhile.

Sounds like you are logged in under your old reservation number. To use a new reservation number, you have to create a new log in for the BOG site. Use your spouse's email or someone else's in your party. That should fix your issue. However, as the above poster said, the spots opened up in Sept so they may possibly be all booked. Good luck!
 
We will be at the Magic Kingdom on Oct 29th and I never received anything via email for Lunch at BOG. I have benn trying for a few weeks to get a fast pass rest and it shows as no available times. Does this mean that I WILL NOT even be allowed to stand in line and wait?!?!? Please don't tell me that if we can't get a fast pass we are out of luck for lunch
