Be Our Guest Lunch FastPass Thread [PLEASE read the FAQs in the first post!]

Thanks for your help - I did try in August and September, but it only showed the dates for the week from the day I logged on, so I figured I don't need to get them until a week before I want the fastpass - I even put an alarm on my phone to remind me to do it. I'll try another email - see what happens...Thanks again!

***I just used another email & log in, and that actually asked for our reservation # and the correct guests are listed. Unfortunately it only showed from Oct 15 - 21st - we're there until the 24th - and every day says that there are no fast passes available. I'll keep checking, and if I don't have any luck, I'll ask at the hotel and I can actually go the day I get there and check Be Our Guest in person.

Something is definitely up with the system, as previously it rarely sold out very far in advance, even in peak August. Often it was even possible to get slots on the day. Keep trying anyway.

I've been following all the BOG threads with interest. Our trip is not until March but I want to score an ADR at BOG somehow. I've noticed noone has been able to get a FP+ for Nov. I've also noticed that each day if you look at BOG like you were going to make an ADR that lunch times for that day only appear although there is no availability. I wonder if this could possibly mean that they will go to ADR for lunch maybe starting in November???

Can anyone speak to the following "rumor" I heard. The reason why we cant make ressies after Oct is that Disney is doing a test at BOG. They send out invitations to on-sight guests only (I guess they chose who) and only those guests will have the opportunity to make lunch reservations at BOG. They will no longer take walk ups.

They have been sending email invitations to onsite guests for a long time. We got one in September 2013.

The no more walk-ups part is a rumor that I have read also, but I have no idea how credible it is.

I do wish they'd just make it an ADR for lunch, just like dinner is, and be done with it. We've used the FP+ for the last 2 trips to eat lunch there and really enjoyed it, but I did not enjoy all the time and effort in trying to secure a FP+ for it. I also love the idea of pre-choosing meals ahead of time, but unfortunately they did not have our meals in their system either time.

Ditto. I think FP for a restaurant is kind of silly and pointless. After all, a FP is technically a reservation.

I emailed yesterday to ask for clarification with regard to whether this program will continue in November. They responded that "you are welcome to make a fastpass reservation 60 days before at be our guest." This is clearly wrong so I wrote back asking when it changed from 27 to 60 for the lunch program. I can handle any answer but I'd like to know if the program has been discontinued, this is a glitch, changed etc!

But we don't know if they will no longer accept walk ups, ever. I read a report here on the DIS that walk ups were being accepted between certain hours only (10-11 and after 2 or something like that) just two days ago. Nobody seems to know what is going on or what WILL happen in the coming weeks.

So it seems, as of now, nobody is sure what's happening for Nov and beyond. Correct? We're booked from Nov 11th-20, so I hope they figure out what they are doing soon.

So if you are going in the next couple of weeks, then I guess you could say it is not a rumor. I was speaking long-term. I am planning for my SIL who is going next month, and myself, this December. There are rumors that BoG will switch to FP ONLY, period, next month, in January, next June, whenever. THAT is the rumor to which I was referring. It has not been confirmed that I am aware of.

Except they're not accepting FP+ reservations for lunch as of November 1, even though we've gotten the emails inviting us to make FP+ reservations for lunch, lol.
