which is better? if we do lunch what time should we get in the line? i saw some you tube videos with looooooooooooooooooong lines for it.

Hi again,

If you want to do lunch use this link.

https://beourguestlunch.disney.go.com/Login.aspx

It will give you a fp for lunch so you will not have to stand in the long line. You will need to sign into your disney experience account. If you snag a fast pass for your date you can pre order what you want to eat so when you check in it will be delivered to your table, or you can choose to pick your food when you arrive. Lunch is a quick service style so you pick where you want to sit but the food is brought ot your table for you. Dinner is a sit down type with regular wait service. To get this dinner reservation you will need to make sure to book right away. If you are less than 180 days out there may not be any times availabe. The link I showed you is only good for lunch not dinner. Hope this helps

I have never done lunch but have done dinner 3 times and have it booked for our September trip. I love dinner. The food is good and the service was great. We have booked and early 4:30 dinner before the Halloween Party the past 2 years and then a regular 8pm dinner last February. After dinner you get an audience with the Master. The Beast is very animated and fun to get pictures with.

I did both in the same week

I have to say that for the mood and stuff dinner is better the food for dinner is a bit better too.

That doesn't mean lunch is bad the food for lunch was actually very delicious my GF had a sald which tasted real hood and I had the croque monsieur and it was at the perfect heat

But seeing as this whole restaurant is not only about the food. During lunch the lights are on and it's a quick setvice so its in , pictures, eat and out

While for dinner the lights are dimmed. There are less crowds walking around. And the beast will be introduced every 30 min or so.
There are very good dishes at dinner and afterwards you get to go on a picturw with your host the beast.

Overall the experience for dinner is more magical but for lunch its good to take pictures of the rooms cause with dinner its rather dark

We have done both. We prefer lunch to dinner without question. The food is so much better. The desserts at lunch and dinner are pretty much the same and not anything exciting.

I have never had any luck getting a FP for BOG, but the line wait is never more than 30 minutes for us. We usually get in line at 10:45.

You can't go wrong with either. We loved dinner there. The food was good, it was fun meeting the beast, and there isn't as much hustle and bustle around you as there is at lunch when it is CS and people are walking around constantly.

But...we love lunch there too. If you can't get a dinner ADR or it doesn't fit into your schedule, you should definitely go for lunch. The line can be deceiving, sometimes what looks for sure like it is an hour long line is only 15 minutes. Just ask a CM standing in the area and they can tell you how long it will really take to get through the line. We've gone during the noon hour and the line was so long that DH swore it would be well over an hour and did not want to do it, but the CM said it was only 20 minutes, and it turned out to just be 15. It was well worth the wait!
