My ADR's are available for my Dec. 7-12 trip. Wasn't able to get either lunch or dinner from the 8-10. I was able to get a lunch ADR on the 12th. My 16 year old is thrilled since Beauty and the Beast is her favorite movie. This is her 16th birthday trip and she wants to see the inside. I know that we won't be able to see the Beast but that's ok.

Keep trying! You might still be able to get a dinner ADR before you go if she's really wanting to meet the Beast. Lots of people cancel all the time. Especially after they've booked their FP.

Yup people cancel all the time you really have to keep an eye out its very annoying but so so so worth it

What a great review. We have had lunch at BOG several times however not dinner.

Yesterday I reserved dinner for 2 on July 12th and am beyond excited because of this review.

Thanks!!

This was my first reservation I booked for my upcoming trip even before plans were finalized! I can't wait!!

I love your review. I completely agree about the strawberry cupcake! It is simply divine. Here's to hoping we snag another ADR for our Jan '16 trip!

We have ADRs for breakfast and lunch in September. After I booked those, ODS said he really wants to meet the Beast (and we are there for his birthday). So I've been stalking the website for reservations and I'm subscribed to the cancellation thread on here. Your review of dinner is great and I really hope we get to try it.

Anyone canceling a dinner September 18-25? :D

Great review! I was already looking forward to eating there on the trip with one of my best friends and fellow Disney fanatic in December and this makes me even more excited. We have both a lunch and dinner ADR on the same day since that was when the availability was (still stalking for breakfast times to open). It's such a beautiful location with incredible theming.

We ate at BOG last year and had an amazing lunch and dinner. We actually didn't get the dinner reservation until the day before so to those who are still looking don't give up hope, something might open up!

Well with diner I feel as though it's a bit of an escape from the park. If you really want to immerse yourself in a DISNEY bubble I would say diner all the way.

Breakfast and lunch both have some Unique options, however you don't get to meet the beast! He walks around the restaurant and an announcement is made that he's coming through to greet guests it's really cool.

Again all three options are amazing, but if you have one choice I'd say go with diner!
Thank you for the awesome info! So excited to try it out!!

Went on June 2, 2015. Felt like Maurice in the castle since it started raining and I was cold and wet. The experience was wonderful. The food was delicious. I think I had the French Onion Soup, the Steak, and a Chocolate Cupcake (not the Grey Stuff). Since I was starving (having arrived that day) I can't complain about anything. When I figure out how to post a photo, I will include the one of me with the Beast after dinner.

I'm so glad this was posted... Thank you.
Like you I'm very picky and am not a 'fan' of fine dining I'm more the meat and potatoes kind of person. But if the chicken was good and possibility of a good steak with great atmosphere then I'm game.
When BOG opened I was really hesitant to eat there but you have given me a sliver of hope :thanks:

Looking forward to book on my next trip! And congrats on finding someone you can share your love of Disney with

It makes me incredibly happy people are still reading and commenting on his thread. If it helped one person in planning their vacation or making a choice it really gives me great satisfaction. Thanks so much guys :)

Your review made me try again to get a dinner reservation. I almost fell off my chair when there was one there. Happily we will be eating at BOG for dinner our last night of our trip. Thanks for sharing your experience. For those that are still trying keep checking you never know. When I first tried to book I could not get Ohana's or BOG and I have been able to get both for our trip.

First off when Disney announced another table service restaurant who thought it wasn't going to be interesting? I thought it would have a few photos of maybe Bell and Beast, and perhaps a princess meal to round out the theme. Who knew just how awesome this restaurant could be...join me as MY guest as we walk through this review of an absolute must do for any Disney fan.

Do you know how long I have been trying to make reservations for this place? 180 days must have been booked at day 179, because there were absolutely NO reservations for this place. I got a 6:45 time so it wasn't in the way of my Castle Stage Show or Wishes.

The Restaurant
When you walk up you have to check in outside the castle gates, and it's really immersive, you think wow I'm really about to eat in here. Once checked in and buzzed, we were able to enter the castle. I'm telling you, honestly as a 29 year old man...The Ballroom took my breathe away....it's absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I could not believe how faithfully it was created, and just taking that classic scene, and making it to real life really put me in the moment.

I got to eat in the ballroom too! How cool is that! Apparently you can't request where to sit, however I would have been disappointing if I had to sit in the West Wing or Music Box room, which were both open, and had plenty of "2 top" seating available. I could not believe I got to eat in the Ball Room. I did get to walk around the other rooms, again, while beautiful I would have been very disappointed.

The Waitress
A-MAZ-ING we had someone who luckily had the "blue name tag" and she was wonderful, I'm telling you it was probably th best service I've ever had anywhere I went to guest relations to inform them how AMAAZING she was - she earned that tag. She took photos for me, recommended me great selections, and told me how long she's been working for Disney and how she still LOVES it. I couldn't have asked for a better waitress Mrs. Eva Joann thanks for making my engagement day beautiful.

The Food
Bread
We both agreed the bread and the butter/salt that it came with was FANTASTIC. I get yelled at for eating bread, because I wont finish my meal...however when I looked up half of the bread was gone by DH! I was in shock, and very happy that he was actually enjoying himself too!

French Onion Soup

DELICIOUS - It wasn't the best FOS I ever had, but for Disney Food I was pleasantly surprised that it was seeingly Fresh, Hot, and Delicious. I very much enjoyed my meal here, and I urge you all to get this as well - DH was mad he didn't get this instead of his!

Chicken
I'm such a picky eater I just like meat, and my food cooked a certain way, and this chicken delivered. I actually ate it all which is rare for me!

Muscles
DH said overall the muscles were serviceable, he's a big seafood eater and has high standards so I was just happy he ate them all, again he said that he enjoyed them, however did not rave about them.

Lamb
I should have ordered the steak
is what I kept hearing everytime he took a bite out of the lamb. That made made me a bit unhappy as you always want someone to enjoy the food as well as the atmosphere. He loves the lambchops at Texas De Brazil so he was comparing them to that. He didn't eat it all, the waitress noticed he wasn't happy with it and removed them for free!

The Gray Stuff
Meh...you have to have it just cause you can say you had the Gray Stuff...it was Okishes....believe me I asked the dishes.

The Cheesecake Cupcake
THE BEST CUPCAKE The frosting is absolute delicious, I wish I got this instead of the gray stuff DH didn't want to share :(

Overall
As a Disney fan and a fan of non rushed dining, with hot fresh food you MUST get a reservation here. I was not rushed ONCE at all, had an amazing server, and had a great meal. We probably had the best time ever at a resturant here, it was playful fun, and entertaining. To see the ballroom come to life gives it an elegant, yet casual vibe. I was BEYOND happy and thrilled I got to eat here at least once. Please, I can not give it the highest marks I can possible.

...Oh yeah the BEAST IS HERE!

10/10 Must Do.

Any questions ask!

Mike!
