Be MY Guest and read this review!

I just stumbled on this thread, too, and now am thrilled I tried and finally got a dinner reservation on the last night of our trip! I'm the type of person who will go to a restaurant just for the bread and desserts and not really care much about the in between. So I'm even more excited now to try that bread and cupcake! :)

You better come back and tell us al about it!
First off congrats on your engagement! Great pics! I have done dinner at bog a couple of times and this December will try it with a lunch ressie. It really is such a beautiful place to dine in we sat in the ballroom for our dinners too. I plan on taking lots of photos and will post once our trip is done. Now Im waiting on liberty tree and hopefully the Hollywood and vine new character dinner to open up to book, but am really looking forward to lunch at bog!:cloud9:

Thank you so much for your review! We had been very so-so about the dinner, but after reading your thoughts, we are hoping to get a ressie for our September trip. Rechecking the menues!

For our trip last September, we were able to get one of those ressie invitations, so we went for lunch and really enjoyed it. The themeing is absolutely unreal and I wish it hadn't been so busy so we could get more pictures, but we really enjoyed our time there. And the lunch was really good and we didn't hesitate to make a lunch ressie for our next trip.
WP_20141027_11_12_15_Pro_opt.jpg This was the Quinoa Salad - with chilled green beans, potatoes, olives, roasted bell peppers, golden beets and tomatoes. I enjoyed it, but really prefer my quinoa warm and this was chilled; the salad was nice and fresh and the dressing was very good, though DH said he felt it had a bite to it.WP_20141027_11_12_25_Pro_opt.jpgDH had the Carved Turkey Sandwich - served on a warm baguette with Dijon mayonnaise and Pomme Frites. DH had this with just the turkey on the sandwich and it was very good; moist turkey and the baguette was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with a sort of garlic butter on the bread. Very good flavor. And the fries were perfect; not too salty and golden and crunchy on the outside; didn't even need the ketchup DH got ... yum-yum.
WP_20141027_11_12_42_Pro_opt.jpgWe both had the The Master's Cupcake - chocolate sponge cake topped with Lumiere's special grey stuff. We both LOVED it! DH is big on chocolate, especially chocolate desserts, but I'm not much for sweets, so I wasn't sure what I'd really think of this, but I really enjoyed it. It wasn't overly sweet and the cupcake was very light. Definitely getting this again!

You're right! That's what I tell friends and colleagues when they are planning a trip to WDW. Of course, I leave for an Alaskan cruise aboard the Disney Wonder in 5 days!

Thank you for your review! We have a BOG dinner ADR next week (our second MK day). Now I'm really excited about it! Can't believe we'll be in WDW in just a couple of days!

I've only been there for lunch, but I read your review last year, and it must have been percolating in the back of my mind, because... this year I decided to go for dinner, on my adults only trip in July with my mom.

We're expecting great things!

We've only been for lunch too, and after reading so many great things we booked a dinner ressy for our Honeymoon in August :)

This morning I went through turmoil to get a reservation. It took me 4 hours. I hope it's worth it. I settled for lunch because I don't know if I can tolerate another attempt. In the end after waiting over one hour on hold with dining reservations, I was transferred to the survey instead of a representative. I called back to explain what happened and was told "well, we are busy". It snowballed from there. Is this a par for the course experience??

Sorry for the old bump but geeze I'm trying to make a reservation to relive this amazing memory, and holy smokes you can't get one for MONTHS out. I must have been darn lucky the first time around!

Thank you for doing this, daughter and I have breakfast, lunch and dinner planned in June so we can experience them all and I was a little worried it was overkill. We are trying all new places on this trip.

We haven't been for dinner for a few years, and have it booked for dinner on our upcoming April F&G trip. Was thinking about cancelling until I read your bumped report, and now I'm excited about eating there again!

Ahhhhh I was gonna ask you if you were gonna drop your reservation to let me know lol

Actually, we are switching resorts, so I am going to drop the reservation. Just decided this morning. It is for Saturday evening, April 21st at 7:40pm for two. We were going to be moving over to BRV that day, from AKL Jambo, but now have decided on BWV, as both are available as of this morning, so since my DH is running the 1/2 marathon Sunday morning, going to MK & BOG is now inconvenient for us on Saturday night, considering he'll have to go to bed fairly early. I won't cancel the BOG reservation until I hear from you.
